I completely agree Tee. For that price point, everything's gotta be ON POINT. One minor thing that is important to me is having the alignment magnet for magsafe. I find the alignment magnet allows for magsafe accessories to say on tighter, and as it's known for allows for the accessory to stay on correctly.
I was looking for reviews on this case all last night. Glad to see it when I woke up this morning! I'm about to switch from my ancient iPhone X to a 15 Pro and my Pitaka case for the X is still going strong since I got it almost 6 whole years ago so glad to see it's still a solid choice for an ultra-slim case. For those who wonder about the durability my X case is showing some wear on the back and it actually has chipped in the upper right corner but it's kept the back and sides of the iphone protected all this time. I don't often drop my phone and I don't think I would recommend it if you are someone who does but if you are just looking for a super thin case that protects from scratches and short drops of around 3 to 4 feet I think it's a great option if you can stomach the price.
I ordered both Benk's and Pitaka's case. I reached out to both about the inside of metal buttons issue and they told me it has a layer or tpe material to prevent damage. So I actually took off the buttons and checked and it actually did have this black film on top of silver metal and the black layer was actually even thicker on Pitakas buttons like a lot thicker. Like you said I think that felt or some kind of rubber tpu would still be better because than these films they use still don't seem reassuring and feel like metal still but definitely the pitakas tpe film was thicker.
I have to say that out of all the cases I have tried on many iPhones over the years, this one is my favorite one. The price is well worth it considering the materials and built quality. 📲
Thanks for this video. I have the mag ez case 4 for my 15PM. I love it but I’d like a little more protection. Gonna get this pro. Price is not an issue with a $1200 phone.
I bought both this case and the Benks. I kept the Benks and sent the Pitaka back. I like the Benks better due to being slimmer and the way the Pitaka fit wasn’t great it doesn’t cover the edges of the phone very well. The buttons on the Pitaka were fantastic though.
Pitaka’s Magez pro case’s are unbeatable, I’ve noticed the finger prints smudges and from using MagSafe stuff a quick wipe and you good, I did notice tho for the 15 Pro max this time the camera lip on the case sits closer to the lenses I guess I won’t be able to use the camera bezel protector to give it a flush finish this time
A great case for sure but just on price alone the Benks Armor Pro is my case to beat. its essentially the same case for half the price! Great review as always!!
@toddnishimoto well good thing about it is everyone isn’t in your situation and I’ve used this case for long periods of times with zero issues. Folks need to realize your situation isn’t another persons.
Caudabe Sheath hands down the best case and after the 27th of September into early October the case will be updated to haveing a button for the action button instead of a cutout.
Just got it for 60€ in France - it is the best case I’ve ever had. It feels amazing in hands, it protects very nicely the my iPhone and I mean “expensive”? When I’m buying a 2000€ phone, the least thing I want to do is putting it in a cheap case. If 3% of the cost of your iPhone is expensive then I am not sure if you need an iPhone in the first place. It may be expensive in a vacuum but when you’re taking in consideration the quality, the cost of raw materials, manufacturing and r&d it is starting to sound fairer, at least to me🙃
I appreciate the extra care and detail that you put into this review. This is the best phone case review I have ever seen. I also really like that you mention the price in the video so many reviewers dance around it
First: 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿 Second: Congrats on getting close to 100k subscribers! Third: As the biggest Pitaka fan on this channel, I will confirm that this case might be the best case for the iPhone 15 series. Pitaka has clearly came back for the number one spot and I am here for it.
Been waiting for this one and been waiting on PITAKA restocking the blue variant of this case, it looks awesome! The lack of protection on the inside of the case buttons is a concern though... maybe slap some clear tape over them on the inside to help protect the iPhone's buttons?
Re buffer between case button and phone button scratches. See direct response from Pitaka “Hi there. Thank you for reaching out to us. We appreciate your concerns regarding the potential damage to your phone's buttons from the metal buttons inside the phone case. Rest assured that our metal buttons are crafted from aluminum alloy, which has a lower tensile force compared to titanium alloy. As a result, there will be no scratches or damage caused to your phone's buttons. To further assure you, we have conducted extensive tests on real iPhone 15 Pro Max to verify the compatibility and durability of our phone cases. Below, you will find a photo depicting the condition of a phone button after it was pressed 10,000 times, serving as a reference for your peace of mind.” The image showed slight marks on the buttons but no scratches or anything too serious. I suggest you put a layer of packaging tape or similar to protect your buttons
This Pitaka pro case is amazing. At first I thought it was uncomfortable to hold, but as I’ve used it… the more I have come around. This case is comfy now in my opinion. I love how the aramid fiber wraps around the corners. It’s just very stylish looking. Plus I absolutely love the new buttons. Yes the case is expensive, but the quality is there imo to justify the price. If the blue aramid fiber becomes available. I may definitely pick that up as well. That’s how much I love this case. The finger prints do show, but I feel it’s not to terrible on this Pitaka case.
Love your videos Tee!!! For the 15 Pro Max, what is the absolute lightest case you have found? For the time being I am using the TORRAS Magnetic Slim-Fit case but will change to any case if one is significantly lighter.
Should I trade in my 14 Pro which has screen scrolling and battery life and overheating problems to the 15 Pro Max? And is 256GB enough storage this year? And should I pick Natural Titanium or White Titanium color? Or, should I get 13 Pro or 13 Pro MAx also brand new, but instead of from Apple, those are sold from parallel importer 3rd party store in my country. Should I trust those stores in your opinion? What would you choose to do? Because of the rumors of overheating and battery issues with the 15 Pro Series too like with the 14 Pro Series.
Great vid tee. I think the best case for protection without adding to much bulk and has tested the times is the UAG metropolis lt. You should give that a review when you get a chance.
Love your videos man, new to the channel, helped me decide on this case, tried a few already including apple fine woven (not sure about that apple!!..) the pitaka just come back in stock over here so placed my order after watching this.
Hi, thanks for the cool video! First of all, price is absolutely fine. Buying a high end phone and the putting it in a cheap case makes no sense at all. My question is, I cannot decide between the MagEZ Case 4 and the pro. I really want to have a slim not too bulky case. My worries are that the pro is too thick? What’s your opinion on the thickness and level of protection between both variants? Cheers from Germany!
How do you think this stacks up against the Mous? The Pitaka felt sharp and uncomfortable in the hand vs. the Mous. Like you, I noticed that the metal buttons are exposed on the inside, so I am afraid it’ll eventually scratch the titanium buttons.
Man I wanted to wait for the Pro case cuz it looks like the perfect full coverage option, but I went with the MagEZ because it had two day prime shipping. Can’t go wrong with either.
Great review, probably the best out there. But bro, how does it FEEL. Is it too slippery, is it grippy? Is it hard to pull out of your pockets because it’s so grippy?
I got the mag ez case for the 15 PM because I love the thin-ness. I reached out to pitaka as well about the fit of mine. It seems not as snug as previous years and almost can slightly move around in the case. They mentioned adhesive .. so appears they know about the issue. And maybe it has to do with the rounded corners. Sucks though.
@@LilGarlic one thing I have to say, is Pitakas customer service is flawless. I reached out to them. They confirmed the new case doesn’t have this. They are sending me a replacement and told me to keep the one I have on now. It’s not insanely loose, but you can tell. I’ve gotten used to it and it only on the top corner of the phone for me.
I'm currently using the Otterbox Defender XT for the iphone 15 Pro, I do love the magnet strenght but seeing this i'm questioning my choise for size vs protection. It seems like my 15 pro is bigger than your 15 pro max when boths devices are using their case (otterbox vs Pitaka). I'd also like a review for the Otterbox defender, just to get your point of view. (i'm still within my return window)
How does the pitaka case hold up when it comes to screen protecting glass? Are the raised edges still high enough? I would love to see that as a standard point in your reviews. This is critical as the screen protector adds a little more thickness to the phones screen. Maybe something for a RU-vid short..
Hi Tee, a question on the Nomad Magsafe Mount. Is it compatible with iPhone 15 Pro? I read on the website that it has compatibility issue, probably due to the camera module size
I think they put the name brand instead of the logo because there’s so many similar cases in the same material that look identical especially on Amazon
Hello, I have a question for you about choosing a case for the iPhone 14 pro. I currently have a Mous case with a "leather" back and I have to say that I am not very satisfied with it. It is not very comfortable in the hand (leatherette version), my mobile phone overheats extremely in it (it always burns completely after normal things like sending messages), but I don't know if it is the mobile phone or the thickness of the case, and the edges where the volume buttons are located have peeled off, so I have bubble and it can't be fixed. I thought I'd try the pitaka case, I've seen a few of your videos and you seem to like it a lot. Would you recommend I invest in a pitaka holster? (specifically, I am attracted by the MagEZ Case Pro 3 model). Thank you. VH
I have similar taste to you, but I want to save weight and bulk where I can. I’m deciding between the benks pro, pitaka pro, aspen, and sheath. What’s the lightest between those options and which is the slimmest?? Thanks in advance!
If I was interested in more protection this would be in the running. For the 15 pro I’m pretty happy with the benks armorair to the point that I would just go with their armorpro for $40.
Yo Tee, I was wondering if you ran into any of the heating issues people be talking about on twitter? It's kinda holding me back from buying the 15 pro max although I really want to (it would be my first iphone)
I bought mageEZ case Pro 4 & caudabe sheath for my upcoming iphone 15 Pro. This would be my first Pitaka case . Definitely one of the most expensive case i ever purchased. It is much lighter than the sheath but the sheath grip is way more better.
I’m pretty clumsy with my phone I like the pitaka and I know you mentioned it in the video but will this protect my phone during drops with a tempered glass screen protector. Should I worry about cracking my screen if I drop this waist height on the hardwood floors multiple times lol?
I bought the magez case 4 AND the pro. Both are awesome and different from each other. Very happy with the purchases. If this case is too expensive then you need to work more. 🤷
Will the buttons on iPhone 15 pro get scratched from the metal buttons on the phone case or did pitaka take preventative measures against this ? Thanks
I love the Pro case, i would love to see Pitaka make a FULL ARAMID FIBER CASE for the 16. Year sure the half wrap is sexy and all, but a full aramid case would definitely be the icing on the cake 🎂
It’s not possible to make a full aramid case. Carbon fiber has nearly zero stretch, and stretch is needed for the case to fit over the corners, hence the TPU on this case. You won’t find a full aramid case anywhere it can’t be done.
Man T, I need some advice. I picked up the Pitaka Pro, Spigen Aramid Enzo, and Phone Revel 5 for my iPhone 15 PM. Each have their own pros and cons, but I’m not sure I’m going to keep them all. Ironically, I think I like how the Enzo looks and feels the best, but not sure about the protection. Ive had pitaka for years, but I really don’t like the corners how sharp and boxy they are. TBH i was let down when I put it on my phone. First time with the Rebel case, I like it, but I don’t love it. IMO it doesn’t feel as premium as the other 2. Any opinions or advice you can send my way on deciding which case to stay with? Thanks in advance!
@@codyberger2762 I actually returned them all, but Pitaka sent me a free Pro case so that is what I have been using this week. I bought the PR crystal and it is ok, better than the frosted IMO. I currently use the apple silicon, pítaka magez 5, nomad sport, mous limitless, and some other ones that i cant remember.
I ordered one the other day but to be honest no felt lining on the inside of the buttons bugs me a little now. I ordered the 1500d but also waiting for 600d to come back in stock. I'm curious what others have experience wise with possible damage to side buttons.
@@TechnicallyTee thank you my friend, I'm new to the channel and love the content. I'm a case geek for sure. 😎

I'm rocking this case right now but feels more slippery compared to previous versions. A little too much slippery. This is my biggest and basically only complaint about this case. Hope Benks ArmorPro 600D will be better in this department. Waiting for Rebel Gen-5 as well.
I got this case after having a Reuterson carbon fiber case for the past 2 years on my 13 pro max. I was very disappointed to find this case no different from a carbon fiber print case. Needless to say it got returned and I have the reuterson on its way. I’d love to see a review of the reuterson as there doesn’t seem to be any. It’s not perfect, but so far I’ve found no substitute!
Magnets just fine. Edges iPhone 14 sharp. Fit could be snugger. All for a low $70!!?? Thanks for this great review, I was on the fence to get this now I’ve 100% decided to get something else. Thank you Tee for saving a me, and everyone from making an expensive mistake.
I got a knockoff aramid case for my 14 for twelve dollars and it’s a perfect fit! Just keep scrolling and you’ll find one but they usually sell out fast…
U talm bout the 1500D or 600D cause my boys 1500D feels a bit slippery…btw been almost 24hrs and iMessage/FaceTime still won’t activate. Apple servers overloaded?
Yeah it’s high but the higher cases are sometimes the more expensive options. We pay all this money for the iPhone but then want to slap a cheap case on it. Also what’s expensive to one person is cheap to the next. Options for everyone.
@@TechnicallyTee its mostly diminishing returns because you’re paying for the brand while the actual protection is not the best. The most expensive case should be the one that keeps your expensive phone the safest before anything else.
Too thick, I like me a almost naked feel but with MagSafe, whats my options Tee besides Benks. Im rocking Lonli Leather case from Amazon for the time till I make a decision for my 15 Pro
I still don’t know about the Pitaka cases. I like their carbon fiber but it’s too slippery. I find myself returning it for a refund. I think for this time around, Mous Limitless is miles ahead.
Just got the MagEZ Case 3 for my 14 Pro and the camera lens cover on the back feels loose and has some subtle movement to it. Assuming it shouldn’t be like that, right?
I’m tired of that boring ass black/gray look. I want that blue version but all the hogs keep taking them. I can’t get my hands on one yet even with alerts set. And you would be crazy to order their thinner cases with the 15 series. One drop on concrete and it chips easily. Also, Pitaka are redoing these cases and adding protection for the buttons. It’s been confirmed through them.
