Car guy! Just found your channel. We currently shoot all our videos on an iPhone but I bought an r8 to step up the video quality. Seen your r8 vid I almost feel like I got the wrong one. But, taking your advice! I don’t know if you have a video on the topic you brought up on bringing in the video from the r8 camera to premiere but we have issues with that and use rush. There’s not much on RU-vid on this topic.

Great video! I had to learn the hard way with the Thumb Drive. The footage was super jittery. Quick question, I don't have a computer to edit my videos, I have to edit them on my phone. Would you recommend recording ProRes in HDR vs Log since I have to edit on my phone?

What app do you use to edit on your phone? Most phone apps let you put a lut on the footage. If I was you though to make it a little easier if you don’t understand how a lut works yet shoot in rec 709 and color grade from there.

I like Lumafusion more. Final Cut dont allow you to add custom luts

I could see d difference on the sea shells. What I have heard,. A phone is a phone and a camera is a camera. I did like that Canon alot....a fan in it, awesome. Great to here from you Michael.

lol not even close to be honest. Always the same oversharpened footage we've seen for years from smartphones. The C70 image looks way more organic.

@@MichaelJohnsonProductions in the video you say iPhone 15 pro gets hot after 10 minutes recording but in what weather conditions? I guess it depends on temperature... not the same winter or summer. And it happens at 60p or at 24p as well? Have you fully tested this "heating issue"?

I knew the difference that’s only because you didn’t mix it up the way i caught on is iPhone has smaller lens if i wasn’t looking for the difference would have noticed it
