The 11pro was a milestone. First iPhone possible to use the lighting for extern storage of data. And first phone with 3 cameras from Apple and most beautiful colours. Midnight green for example.
I am keeping my 11 Pro until the camera lens is closer in the same height. I do not like the lens that stick out so much, which is the reason that I have passed on the 12, 13, and 14 Pros. Size of my 11 Pro is perfect, along with the rounded edge, and the camera is plenty good enough.
I hold the same view but i think it's very unlikely to happen... in fact i think it's gonna be stick out even more, unless they decide to make the phone thicker
They must have changed the hardware supplier?! The 11pro’s 2x zoom has 52mm lens while the iphone 15pro 2x xoom has 48mm lens. Why is that? It should have upgraded
My wife just bought the 15 pro. I still have my 11 pro. I really can‘t tell a difference betweend these two devices. The camera is nearly the same, just with less noise when its dark. 120 hz display is nice, but not that important. The notch (dynamic island) is too far in the display area. I like the notch from the 11 pro better. Also the round design is much more pleasing for my hand, than the edged one. I like the 11 pro so much more.
I really don't wanna trade in my 11 pro max. The color, sleekness, everything... I love. I was planning to keep it until it basically broke but I want more storage 😭
@@EarthWalker0 the 11 pro max was my first iPhone too I really didn't want to trade it but I was tired of the limited space. I had the 64gb didn't know there were different ones at the time. Honestly, the 15 pro max I got isn't that much different, other than the space😅
I feel exactly the same. My 11 pro is still really fast and feels like a new phone, however I’m full on storage and kinda wish I’d bought more storage when I got it. I kinda of understand why Apple don’t allow people to use micro SD cards because a lot of people probably upgrade when they get sick of storage management after a few years.
I’ve had my 11 pro for 4 years now and honestly, I don’t see any need to change. The only gripe I have is after iOS 17 I’ve seen a significant drop in my battery life. I’d like to know if other people owning the 11 pro are experiencing the same issue. The 15 pro is definitely the faster phone but it’s just so by a few seconds and I don’t care for that. It also has an objectively better camera system & software but the 11 pro still holds up very well for my use cases.
Can confirm that recent software updates have negatively impacted the battery life of my 11 pro. Also, after software updates, using Apple car play now makes the phone heat up unnaturally. The only remedy is putting it into battery saver mode
In 4 years my 11 pro's battery capacity dropped from 100 percent to 98, just a 2 percent change but for some reason after the ios 17 update my battery capacity went from 98 to 96 in just 1 week. I didn't encounter any lagging issues but it started overheating a bit. This is the exact same issue my old iphone xr is facing as well after the new update but for some reason my 12 pro is works just fine and isnt having any issues whatsover which is kind of weird given that a device which is just an year older than it is facing such weird issues. I like my 11 pro really really much and thats why i use it even tho i have a 12 pro, its much more comfortable, looks sleek and had an amazing battery life up until now. It still works fine and I will keep on using it until it finally gives out lol.
battery is pretty much the only reason I just got the iPhone 15 pro, also storage. I’ve had my 11 for 4 years also and it just felt like it was time to upgrade, I’ll probably have this iPhone 15 now until the 19 or 20 comes out😂😂
I want to keep my 11 pro max but the battery needs replacing and I think the lighting port has an issue, it sometimes doesn't charge unless you push the cable to the side. I'm happy to get a new battery but not sure how I will manage with the charging issue. The phone is frustratingly slow, but that could due to the battery.
I'm considering upgrading from the 11 pro to the entry level 15. They both have a sort of x2 zoom, though they do it differently. I'm wondering if the portrait pictures at x2 on the iPhone 15 will look better.
No, especially Portrait won't. But the Sensor on the 15 is waaaay larger. So even the cropped/inner 12mp from the 15 are bigger than the whole Main Sensor of even the 12 pro.
i think the 14 pro may be a better deal than the base 15, if you dont care about usb c. the 15 also only has usb c 2.0, so thats not a big improvement over lightning
I don't use a camera often but heavily depend on social media apps. Should I choose the 15 Pro at $1300 over the 11 Pro, which is available at $330 as second hand with 83% battery health?
As someone who has owned every iPhone since the original back in 2007 I’ve always favoured the more rounded iPhones. The design of the 12 really made the iPhone uncomfortable to hold, doubly so for the larger phones. The 11 was the last best big phone for me until the 15 Pro Max. Very happy they’ve started to round the edges again and hope they continue to do so until we get phones that are actually comfortable to hold again.
I still use my iPhone 11 Pro which I buyed 4 years ago. The battery capacity is still on 95%! The phone is doing still like it’s brand new. Only reason I want to change because I sadly buyed the 64 gb storage version, so it’s started to fill up. I still love my 11 pro very much.
couple days ago i bought 11 pro 512GB second for $335. I plan to use it until the last iOS cant apply in it. I plan to buy 15 pro until the price around $700
My 11 pro is still doing great. I normally feel like upgrading around now but this phone shows no signs of slowing down. If anything, I’ll upgrade if the 16 pro or 17 pro gets better battery life.
I wanted to keep my 11 pro longer but ended up trading up to the 15 pro…. Mainly I was concerned about : lack of future software support after next year…. My battery health was down to 83%…. And yes I could change that but I cannot make Apple continue to support it with future updates … ugh and received a $700 upgrade credit from my carrier…. So that helped make my decision
Had the same problem but I had the 11 pro max. Battery health has degraded to 78% after 4 years of ridiculously heavy use. Got the 15 pro to try something smaller and I’m liking the less clunky feel.
Wife is going from 11 to a 15 or 15 Pro…just don’t know if she’ll like the battery. Will be better for some time than her 73% capacity 11 battery, but it’s annoying if we have to pay $1000 for a phone we have to charge twice a day.
I bought iPhone 15 pro in this month. I am using iPhone 11 pro. I love the side shape of 11 pro . That is more comfortable for me to hold it on hand. iPhone 15 pro the side shape make me hard to type in works. that make my habit change. and I don like it at all. I gonna refund the iPhone 15 pro in the next 3 days.
my friend told me if I don't like 15 pro, I should try normal 15. but I live far from the apple store. I don have a chance to touch the normal 15 at the moment. I will have a look at normal 15. I want to change a new phone for a long time. hopefully, normal 15 fits my needs.
your app launches comparison was one of the most unscientific things I have ever seen. Half of the apps didn’t open to the same page and your timing was off the other half
Hell na lmao, and if you wanna upgrade only upgrade to pro models instead cus the regular models don't make that much sense in value compared to the pros
