If the processor can't sustain a stable clock at higher loads for a certain time what's the benefit of having it on the first place. your phone is returning back to normal temperature from 60-100% is because iphone holds the charging and slows it down due to overheating. It's an inbuilt feature in iphone. If you go to battery settings you can see "charging was put on hold due to iphone temperature". Still the overheating is bad. Same happens in my iphone 14 plus.
