I'm switching from my Note10 plus after using it for 5 years to an Iphone 16PM. I pre-ordered it on Friday desert titanium 512GB. This will be my first time ever having an iphone. I don't care much about A.I. I care more about good battery life and communicating with my family who mainly have iphones and live in Florida. My grandma has an iphone and I'll be able to FaceTime her. She's 82 and excited for us to FaceTime once I get my phone on Friday. It made me really happy to hear that because she doesn't like to FaceTime a lot of people. Can't wait to pick it up from AT&T on Friday 🤗

For me, who lives in Norway, Scandinavia, the iPhone 16 Pro only means that I get a new button. Therefore, I will probably keep my iPhone 14 Pro for at least another year.

Well at least Google isn’t waiting to push out the majority of their features. If you buy the pixel 9, you get a lot of the features that they announce, not later on in the year or future.

I have an iphone 14 pro max and a S24 ultra. I was hoping that the 16 pro max would be a worthy upgrade but it isn't so I'll keep my 14 pro max for another year loll. So boring

As much as I like my Apple products, this iphone thing is absolutely hilarious. It's insane really. Of course I'll be holding on to my iphone 15 Pro Max for a while. By the way, I appreciate your perspective and how candid you are about this. Great video.

Seems that this is the way it is now. Phones get released without things that were promised at launch. But like most things, Apple follows suit. Pixel launched without AI things until after an update. Galaxy launched without Expert RAW. They are all doing it now.

I sat there during the event and kept saying the same thing. This was the WORST event where there were so many future promises. Coming soon ...later this year ....blah blah. Just ship the phone with the features!! I can understand maybe 1 or 2, but it seems pretty much everything they announced is not ready ...smh!!

I’m upgrading from the 15 Pro Max with no big complaints to the 16 Pro Max for the improvements other than AI, except its eventual enhancement of Siri, which is direly needed.

I don't understand why the trend in tech these days is to release very unfinished products. Prices are going up like they are using us to pay for the final R&D. I guess they all want to be the first to be shitty. They make their own deadlines and release dates, why do they do this?

Apple really dropped the ball on this one. Seems like they didn't really plan for any of this stuff and it's been out for a while. Doesn't give me a lot of confidence in them as a company.

Imagine being a chef, billions of view,and praises on cooking channel and restaurants, you come up with a new revolutionary sea food dish that will revolutionize the food industry. On Grand opening, the sea food dish is being served without... Without any sea items in it. Fishing season just ended and you'll have to wait until next year to get what the chef promised you. Will you buy that plate mat potatoes and broccoli and pay premium for it? I don't think so.

The last great iPhone was the 13 Pro. Something changed. Those 14 series are terrible, I think the 15 is arguably better than the 15 Pro with all its issues (overheating, terrible battery, etc). These 16 series don’t sound too good at all. If AI is the selling point might. R best to just wait until the 17s.

I ordered the 16 pro too coming from the 15 pro max. It will be my first pro phone since the 13 pro. I hope they got everything together with the battery life because I hate the 15 pro max size and heat.

There are some ai features that are useful but not in a big way by that I mean they come in handy from time to time but I do love the call screen feature it gets the solicitors off my back lol but most ai are gimmicky

If I get the 16 Pro it will be for the camera features not AI. I use Gemini on my Pixel for that.

I too have signal issues with my iPhone 15 Pro max and im truly not impressed with the cameras too. I can have two bars of 4G and I can’t have a conversation… I can hear the caller but they can’t hear me! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

yeah its not really big upgrade if you have 15 series or even 14 series. like the upgrades are very minimal. and its mostly if you are photographer etc. the AI regular folks they will not use that feature at all.

Sadly most people don't care about the apple intelligence feature the vast majority of people will buy the 16 simply because it's the new iPhone and they wanna look cool, accepted or whatever, my ex brother-in-law purchased the first iPhone that included the portrait photo feature (I don't remember which one it was) and he had no idea on how portrait mode worked he was literally taking photos of people 20-30 feet away with the portrait mode on thinking that it made the photos sharper or something, he didn't even bother to watch the apple event to learn about the new features, this is how most of them think ... "it's the new one and I want it" 🤷🏻‍♂️😂

I have had Gemini on my Pixel Fold since February the software features are awesome. Google calling features are the best no more spam calls the AI answers without your phone ringing the same with text recording them and writing down the conversation also.

I have a feeling that Apple is over promising the the AI features that it may get delayed until Apple realizes that they need to cancel it.

I use microsoft edge and have copilot even on iPhones. So i just miss one feature "cleanup" in photos. Everything else i dont really care.

I left iPhone in 2013 for innovative phones running BlackBerry 10 os. I left my BlackBerry key 2 in 2018. Since then, I've been bored of having an innovative phone and I certainly won't go back to Apple. In 2024 or 2025, I may consider buying a motorola razr 50 ultra or a Sony xperia 1 vi 512gb... I continue to hope for a return of BlackBerry to the smartphone market! In the meantime I continue to use my S23 ultra. Apple is non-innovative and boring, I need an original and productivity-oriented phone, hard to find these days!
