i dont remember the website by hard heart, but it was some Chinese website just google it, you find a couple websites, umm and the quality was good could be better but still good, just dont over tighten the screw and you'll be fine, and when taking off the lcd be careful, because my lcd split in half, it didnt come off the clips like you seen in the video, i just used a plastic tool to remove the clips from the body but it still works, hope this helps.

i successfuly repaired the home button on my iphone 4 like 2 months ago but i had a pretty hard time, hope i dont have to dissasemble this one it seems more complicated

Hi..u got a pair of steady hands..do you also have a video where you assemble the parts? I need your help to understand this.....there is a rattling sound coming from inside my iPhone5.as if something is loose inside The sound is more prominent if I tap the phone somewhere near the camera...what could cause this sound? As per the discussions in iPhone forums this is something normal

I've never tried to repair an apple product (with good reason prior to the iPhone 5). Where exactly can you get the parts?? Can you actually get any of the original parts without being an authorised service provider??

if u put it all on the mother board, if for example your wifi chip fails, you will either have to get a new board or solder a new chip on your motherboard which makes it harder to repair and more expensive

Exactly what I was thinking. With the back being the frame now, anything more than a screen replacement is going to be 3G/3GS levels of annoyance! Good thing 90% of repairs are screens!

i dont understand why they dont put all theese parts on a motherboard really i opened my arc s and there was a mainboard full of theese things (camera,cpu,antenna,ports,button connections,etc)

i dont see any a6 chip or the lte chip.

At least replacing the front screen is as simple at it was iPhone 3 if not simpler. 4 and 4s had to take whole thing apart from back to replace screen

THANK YOU SO SO MUCH FOR THE VIDEO!!!! BUT WATCHING THIS VIDEO MADE ME DIZZY!!!!! My brain kept trying to figure out which way the phone and the camera turns each time you change angles.... KEEP A FIXED POSITION MORE PLZ.

Why is it every video you guys make you all refuse to disconnect the battery FIRST? Guys if you do repairs like this without being ESD grounded or disconnecting the battery first like this guy is doing, you are going to fuck up your phone. Other than that is a pretty good video but this is something I see all the time with the disassembly videos and I don'the know why.

Good video. One suggestion; get 2" painter's masking tape and place the screws in the proper sequence on the tape as you remove them. They can, when you are ready to re-assemble be removed without much effort. Follow the order sequence and you're done. No missing screws. no confusion as to where they go.

These things are not hard to do actually with the right tools and patience. I plan to do this in my spare time but maybe not apple devices LOL but I do have a 5 i need to replace the screen and this video helped alot.

So that's why u wanted my phone....I need it back now...

i think of the dust and sweat (on your hands). because these electrical components are usually highly sensitive.

Why can not I see the video how to disconnect the plug from the home button?

I opened mine by continuously smacking it with a hammer its fast and efficient and the best part is you don't need any fancy pants equipment to do it you just put your phone somewhere and smack it with a hammer, if you wanna do collateral damage you the part of the hammer with 2 things if you just wanna crack the screen but still open it use the head.
