I tried it I now need a.new battery more adhesive but I till some of it apart IM going to take it to raw styles and see if they Can fix my black screen and.png it together

what about about water damage? I jumped in the pool with mine recently... I tried putting it in a bag of rice for a couple of days. it still won't turn on though... what should i do about that?

Hi i went to install a new screen it worked at first and everything was in order then everytime i went to insert the screen into the rest of the phone the display would stop, so i tried to reinsert the ribbon cables again( made sure the phone was off.) and now nothing seem to be working but the phone is "on" cause when i call it from another phone it rings. any ideas?

Okay, so my nephew knocked my 5c out of my hand and it landed screen down. The screen isn't cracked. It completely turned itself off and won't turn on but if I try to charge it it just makes the vibrating noise. Any thoughts on what it could be? Please let me know because I have a wedding video on my phone and I hadn't even gotten the chance to back my phone up since I took that video. Thanks.

On your creaking noise . Where are you pushing down on the screen at? If its the top part could be the metal bracket that is holding it down that is not screwed down all the way.

Same issue, 5c creaking. Happens most noticeably behind the volume buttons (on the back of the case- right side.) If I were to order the specialized screw driver, is there any way I could fix this with a dab of hot glue? Whats your thoughts please

Sounds like the clips that hold the screen in have come loose. They are held in by small Phillips head screws.

My iPhone screen is popping out on the top right from dropping it and I won't go in I Reyes using force and pushing it down but it cracks the screen and I even bought a new power button because mine broke from the drop and bought a new back and screen still popped out

AlishaN699 You can change the color of your back housing. It would be a time consuming repair, as you would have to transfer all the internal components to your new back.

Hello wife dropped her 5c now screen colors darker despite turning brightness all the way up. Loose connection? LCD? Screen did not break just darker and colors are off a bit. Thanks!!

Try taking the back off of the device and checking the connections at the top right. Make sure to power the device down FIRST! If after that you are still experiencing the malfunction then a screen replacement will be in order. Joy Williams Nope, the device opens from the front. The screen pops out and can be replaced without touching the rest of the internal components.

my brother threw my iphone 5c and i went and picked it up, and what i was doing was on there for a little bit but slowly started turning black (the touch screen wasnt working and their wasnt any animation on the screen either). when it was completely black i could turn the screen on and off, but it only went from a black back light to just black. what can i do, and what is the problem

Hello, Sorry they are not the same. If your glass is broken you would have to buy the part for your phone. IE Iphone 5 Iphone 5c . There is not one that fits both.

My phone has a huge black dot full of moisture in the middle of it and I wasn't sure how to fix it. I put in a container of rice for twenty-four hours to draw the moisture out and it has only shrunken a little. Does that mean my screen is broken and that's why moisture keeps creeping inside or is it something else?

tamar rivas Sounds like the LCD is damaged and is bleeding through. As it is a liquid crystal display, you may just want to replace your LCD and Touch screen.

Sounds like your LCD is damaged. You would need to replace it. www.repairsuniverse.com/iphone-5c-lcd-touch-screen-digitizer-replacement.html You could trouble shoot it. Try to do a Hard reset and see if it will kick it out of its funk. There could be more as a connection is lose.

dropped my iphone and cracked the screen and I still used it. I dropped it again and the screen quit completely. When I plug it in to my computer it doesn't even make a sound. besides changing the screen could I have damaged something else?

Hershel Fugate Possible that there is an issue on your logic board. If your PC does not recognize the unit, it may not be worth purchasing a new screen. Also double check your battery. It's possible that it came loose from the logic board.

So you can't change the back of an iPhone 5c to a new color? I have pink and I want white, I know someone who can do this for me for free but people are always saying you can change it than half of the crowd is saying I can't.

Bri Wise It is possible to change the back housing. However, you will have to gut your device completely and install the internal components into the new housing.

Bri, Yes you can change the color. What you would need to do is buy the white rear housing. You can find it here. www.repairsuniverse.com/iphone-5c-back-cover-replacement-white.html Once you have the housing you would take all the components off of the pink housing and transfer to the white. It is possible to do this, but it is very time consuming. We can do this for you. Please see our website to private chat for pricing.
