iPhone 6 battery adhesive installation breakdown:
1. Examine the adhesive. It should have two films protecting the sticky part, one film on each side (top and bottom).
2. Begin by slowly and carefully removing one of the films by the pointy end of the adhesive. One film will come off easily, without creating bubbles or stretching the adhesive. This is the film you want to remove. This film usually has a blue color.
3. Put the bottom edge of the battery to the end of the adhesive, right where the black strip begins. Continue by pressing the battery's body to the rest of the adhesive.
4. Remove the two small blue films covering the adhesive on the black strips and attach the black strip to the battery. If they don't attach, leave them hanging for now.
5. Remove the last film (usually red) slowly without creating bubbles or stretching the adhesive.
6. Install the iPhone 6 battery into the phone and make sure the battery's connect reaches its receiving end on the motherboard. Remember that the adhesive is sticky and it can be difficult to remove/adjust the battery if you don't get it right the first time.
