LOVED him freeing the top screen from the case with a rusty box-cutter! Everyone else recommends a plastic tool or guitar pick plus a suction cup with a ring to lift while freeing the screen. And it seemed so easy! I have done 3 of them and my experience was that I had to work a lot more carefully and longer to free it. After removing the 2 small screws at the bottom of the case, I had to use a hair dryer to free the screen from the glue. I AM glad he makes it seem like someone with decent skills can dpo the replacement IF they have skills in a.) following a long list of unwritten sequential instructions shared through voice and video, and b.) experience de-assembling and re-assembling electronic devices

Thank you my friend. I did this step by step and I put back the new screen to the right place carefully but it was difficult me and I pushed too hard and my screen had broken again :D but much better now the screen than was before. Yes, nowadays an iphone 6s screen is not expensive already. I actually bought this for £10.95 Later I will buy an other one and practice this change screen thing. Good like me 🔧

I tried to change my iphones 6s screen , but when I connected the battery. then the line of screen burned. I tried to change again my screen. but now the tlf is not tuning on. Now the battery and tlf is hot.

Thanks for the lovely video. I've just did it and it works. One thing to emphasize for everyone attempting this: BE VERY-VERY CAREFUL WITH THE FINGERPRINT READER'S CABLE as it's glued to the phone and breaks very easily. I just broke it so no fingerprint for me.

Reuse the original home button. So that touch ID will continue to work.

You can use the white button for Touch ID. If you want black button, you can. But you can't use touch ID on black

Make sure the cable connector is seated properly. If you still having issue, maybe change the back plate that is also an extension for home button.

Make sure you have your eye protection wear before you pry open your screen. This is avoid broken glass to get into your eyes. Try start from the corner and cut the adhesive tape.
