I'm still using my Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge in 2023 and I use it with a custom rom Android 13 lineage OS on my phone and I like how it runs smoothly without a problem in 2023 and I use it as my daily driver also I'm watching this video on my Galaxy S6 Edge
@@famalki1619 almost sure that is terrible 😂. Today i hard reset mine S6, and it survived only around 2-3 hours with almost full battery. I mean the battery was never too large, but now it's just terrible. Plus, no extension of the memory (so i am stuck with 32Gb/20Gb (after installing the OS)). I planned to use it as a more slow phone to prevent me from scrolling the social media. Well, i suppose it works ...
although they are flagships from the same era the iphone 6s were running ios 15 which released in 2021 meanwhile the s6 ran android 7 which released in 2016 so the iphone 6s is technically better running an os much heavier than the s6
They are both able to run any app on the store still so it doesn't really matter what os version they're on because both of them are slow. Those who know what they're doing can install a custom rom on the S6 and bring it to Android 13 if they really want to
Loved the S6 and i still have my old S6 edge in its box but they feel way too slow even in the menu. I think their batteries are weak and both of them are throttling down because the battery can't keep up. I noticed my S6 starts to work better if i plug the charger regardless of how much battery it has
It’s really stupid to not charge both devices to full for a fair comparison. Obviously the iPhone that started on a much lower charge will likely limit the CPU and be slower to open apps than it otherwise could’ve.
That's not how it works m8. The CPU will only get throttled in either very low percentages (5% or lower) or in battery saver mode. The iPhone falls in neither category. Stop tryna make up a scenario that never happened just because you love Apple products
@@opposedscroll7596 nah bro my phone starts lagging under 20%. edit: i just realized it starts lagging when it warms up. it usually happens at 30% to me.
Wow I know y'all iphone users will hate this but you gotta give it to Samsung for having the best display even on this old phone. Just look at that deep Black color on the Samsung
@@orenz.272 I prefer punchy colors more than the resolution I have literally a 30inches 4k lcd TV but I prefer watching movies on my 720p super amoled galaxy j5 because of the colors Have u ever seen an samsungs phone amoled screen before if u see one next to an iPhone it will definitely change your mind It's significantly different even tho Samsung makes iphone screens
@@gomo123 Yeah sure.. 3rd part apps helps us to get hacked of our own privacy, custom ROM where you cannot use any financial payment app due to privacy issues..no private data can be kept... and android 7 yes.. currently latest android is 13.. 7 is almost half.. can you tell me which ios version is 6s running on till today? after 8 years? almost a decade..Latest ios.. iOS 16.. 8 years man.. and its not just security patch updates, its actual ios update.. . which u get in iPhone 14.
@@tinkuyadav9278if you don't know about custom rom stop spreading bullshit lol I'm using custom rom on my mi 11x and banking apps works perfectly fine only rooted device have issues with banking apps and privacy. typical average users who don't know about custom rom but still acts like he knows everything
Iphone 6 holded up the performance but that's what it only had from the beginning . The s6 on the othet hand was as fast at the beginning offering more hardware amd software features that the iphone never and still doesn't offer. In my opinion this makes the Samsung a better phone overall since its cheaper too. The value for money on the Samsung is better. the money u saved by not buying the iphone.. use it to buy a new Samsung
@@ShreyashChallawar a note 10 from 2019 wich Is stuck on android 12 is still performing just fine. 7 years of os support is literally a joke , nearly nobody holds a phone for more than 5 years , and because of that the 3rd party app developers don't optimise their apps for so old phone , because they prefer to optimise the app for phones that have more users. A 7 year old phone nearly doesn't have users , compared to a 3 or 4 years old phone. So the 3rd party apps are gonna perform really bad on a phone with no users.( 7 year old phone) even if it gets os updates from manufacturer for the next 300 years
The iphone was consistently better at opening apps faster and keeping them in the background for much longer despite being super low on charge, the android fanboys in the comments are insane
I watched this video on my iPhone 6S, which was given to me by my dear female cousin. Her iPhone 6S is much faster and more responsive than the 358.83USD high-spec android smartphone at home. It's a hard slap at midrange android smartphones released in 2021. Thank you my sister❤
