Wow that’s a lot of work to replace the charge port, mine needs replacing, but that seems to much for me

I agree, removing all the screws and components can be quite tedious and intimidating, but try picking up an iFixit toolkit, it will help out tremendously with the process and organize the workflow. $20 iFixit toolkit + $8 charging port replacement is much better than $85 at a repair shop for parts and labor

I replaced my battery but it was still black screen could it be the charge port that needs to get replaced

Unscrew the taptic engine and fold it over, then start removing adhesive strips from underneath the battery ; )))

And I broke my Taptic Engine lol so cause I couldn’t get one thing out that sensor board was stuck somehow

Before removing the wires that hes pullings. Undo the screws and they will come away eaiser then pulling them
