You are so talented that those iPhones almost repairs itself from the moment they enter inside your shop. Congrats for all your work and to take your time to share it with us.
to be honest i am from Syria and you made me want to learn how to fix phones and soon gonna start learning advanced phone repair matter the fact tomorrow i will fix a broken phone that got a short on WiFi IC + Filter THANK YOU for making me believe that i can do this
Oh my Goodness! That was me! That was an iPhone I repaired in a haste and connected the display the wrong way (I know I know, totally embarrasing) So I really didnt give a damn eventually, removed the board and sent it to you, since you can't ship devices with batteries internationally and I was told sending the board was just fine. Sorry for not packaging it properly. Thank you for your great work. I know I sent it to the right person, I honestly do not believe anyone else here would've done with THAT much care.
I always wonder if someone sees the video of their own phone here. I am glad this one worked out. I've ran into a few more of these since this one so there are a lot of people who accidentally connect that cable backwards. I think it's because of the long cable with odd folds. Thank you for commenting. :)
@@ststele Yeah it is because of that, screw the design on that one. Besides being very educational, your excellent videos had me convinced where to send the smartphone to, so I'm really happy that my device made it to one ;)
Very delicate... well done ....your videos are very educational.... Am a commercial contractor... finished my aircraft mechanics and did my MCSE.. now I Micro-solder repair at home like you... any advise what should I do next lol 😂
Really glad you are back in the groove of things and making videos. I work at a phone repair shop; I always have enjoyed and appreciated them. Keep up the great work. Also I wonder if you follow the mobile repair Reddit or Discord?
Smashing , that new inductor looks original, no one would ever know :-D Sometimes being too picky can create a problem. You would think i would learn... Nope lol.
When I got my silicone mat I couldn't reball chips any more, the spongyness makes my stencil warp. Now I put a paper towel under the chip to prevent that
Is that an old video? Your EasyDraw license end date is: 2019-03-28 😁 Today is September 16th, 2019. Anyways, as always a nice video. Thank you for that. Best regards Tolga
Is the original home button working well after putting inside? Because I had one iPhone 7, home button stoped work after cutting button's ribbon flex. I have tried many other buttons and LCDs and still the same. No button detected. I remember that Jessa from iPad Rehab was asking about that issue at live streaming but no one was able to help. I have checked connector on the board on diode mode and readings were similar with healthy board. I should check voltage on working board? Do you have any clues Jason? Mamba, mesa? Thanks for time and help!
Nice video and fast repair. Wondering is any genuine reason you are not using some board holder ? On your movies logic board is moving in all direction :) . I don't mind just wondering . Keep up good work.
Thanks. I use a board holder most of the time these days. In this video, from the moment the filter is removed, the PCB went into a holder. I should have left the part in where I clamped it down.
Zi have an iPhone 7 with no image probably the same thing It really needs your attention but when I click the link for mail in it gives me an error. Help!
At some point, Apple added a feature to iOS so that when the home button isn't behaving, it automatically turns on assistive touch. It seems to need a home button connected to do it tho.
@@ststele Sometimes that Assistive Touch Button doesn't appear. If you got a Home Button issue and the Soft Button doesn't appear, just switch off the iPhone. Then turn it on and when the Apple Logo appears, press and hold the Volume Down Button, until it booted up to the setup screen. The iPhone will skip the "Hello" screen and go straight to country selection ;) Just a tip of me :) Best regards! Tolga
