Its okay, please don't be sad, somewhere in March the iPhone SE2 and iPhone SE2+ (some say it's an iPhone 9 or 9+) will be released, it will have the same iPhone 8 design with a A13 bionic chip, and a better camera. So the iPhone SE2 will be a little more cheaper than the original iPhone 8.
So far I have been using it moderately and the screen brightness about 1/3 the way up the bar. Phone last all day with no need to recharge. I get home with about 63%, but I'm not a heavy user, so percentage may very on the person.
