This is AMAZING 🎉!!! I’ve used this twice! This time my iPhone XR wasn’t even dirty at all. I used rubbing alcohol anyway. I let it play a few times through and allowed it to dry out! Thanks so much! This worked on my iPhone 12 and my husbands old iPhone 8. I laid the phone flat, used a q-tip to rub alcohol on the speakers, and I let it sit for about two minutes. Occasionally applying a little more alcohol. Then used a toothbrush to get the debris. I couldn’t hear the sound at first, then after the alcohol I could immediately hear it working. Magic. Much appreciated!

He had the problem for literally 2 years but we always thought it needed replacement and although I have fixed a couple of phones in the past, for this one I was not sure as I didn’t want to damage Facebook ID. This worked perfectly! I used 70% isopropyl alcohol as that’s all I had available and I’m happy to report to those worried about the lower alcohol percentage that it didn’t do any damage to my phone’s speaker! My phone is from 2015 so I was a little concerned about its water resistance because it is a much lower rated IPS than that of newer smart phones which are generally water proof. I simply soaked a cotton swab with that 70% isopropyl alcohol and repeatedly pushed the swab firmly into the speaker holes while this video was playing at full volume. I did this process 2 times with the video also playing all the way through twice. The muted and scratchy sound has been fixed. 👍🏻 Thanks for the tip. 😊

Oh my....I had to do it over and over again and then suddenly the sound became much louder. Played it 5-6 times at least. Don't give up!

My speaker is like 3x as loud now. Half volume is louder then pre-clean full volume! Thank you!

Okay, so it worked for me!! I used hand sanitizer instead (62% alcohol). I literally just swiped a little on it and used the back of my eye brow pencil brush to scrub it a little. I repeated a couple times. I didn’t think it worked at first but I went out of this video and replayed the first one where the guy was talking and it improved significantly! You got this!

This technique really works... Could bearly hear from my top speaker when making call but now it's perfect... Had to apply the alcohol several times before seeing the bubbles coming up then spraying while using the ear speaker cleaning tone but nonetheless, it works... Use iso and try holding both speakers then run the video. Worked really well.

I can vouch for this method! I purchased a used iPhone 13 Pro Max in Silver, and while I love it, the bottom speaker had a rattle with certain music. I was almost going to sell it, but it was hard to find the Silver color again. Then, I stumbled upon this video and gave it a try. Now, my speaker sounds much better! Can't believe it actually worked!

Thought my phone had water damage as the speaker was sounding like it had a ton of water logged in it, played this sound for 4 minutes on full blast and could actually VERY slightly feel a stream of wind coming out of the speaker with my face and it actually fixed the speaker. Holy moly thank you

So simple I can’t believe I’ve had the same issue with 3-4 iPhones now and a big reason to upgrading was because the sound was just broken or to badly damaged, I went into a phone repair shop twice and they told me they’d have to take my phone apart and they wouldn’t do it because apparently to risky to take apart the phone with a couple cracks on the screen. Then in 5 minutes of listening to this a couple squirts of iso alcohol and a little brush and it is so much better not quite back to baseline but so much better it’s unbelievable how easy it was.

This really helped my iphone which was fallen in the swimming pool, water summed in the ear speaker all went clearly off👍👍
