The primary reason why production in China is cheap is SCALE. China is a huge market plus it is a factory for the world in most products. This makes it easy to scale.
I have also been to this place. We Chinese think that Apple mobile phones are not particularly good, because it tend to get hot and drop frames when playing pubg mobile games! So we Chinese use Huawei with better performance!😎

The ONLY people that use apple products are people that are obsessed with image and their vanity: that is why 80%-90% of smartphone users have android phones because they are practical people that see smartphones as tools and not some status thing. I've been using personal computers for close to 5 decades so my experience with the personal computer includes CPM and BASIC and DOS which is ALL text. When the Apple Macintosh came out it was the greatest thing around FAR better than the text-based DOS computers. The AMIGA was also great but was FAR more expensive and not practical for everyday use. The Apple Macintosh was also expensive but it was light years ahead of the IBM PCs so for people like me the huge cost premium of Macintosh was worth it as it FAR superior to the text-based IBM-compatible PCs. So thus I had both the Macintosh for its superiority but also had the PCs as that was the machine for work. The arrival of Microsoft Windows changed EVERYTHING and made the Macintosh "advantages" disappear. Thus I haven't owned a new Apple Macintosh since the late 1990s. When the Iphone came out, android was already around so instantly I saw the re-creation of the MORE EXPENSIVE "proprietary" Apple Iphone being a Macintosh while the Android was the equivalent of the IBM PCs with DOS/Windows BUT CHEAPER. There was simply NO advantage to owning an Iphone as Android DOES THE SAME THING....... AND I KNOW as someone gave me a IPAD as a gift so I KNOW IOS and there simply is NO advantage of IOS over Android.
the manufacturing and parts are all from china that's why its cheap I phone 15 in India would be cheap cheaper if the parts are not imported from china

I am from Bangladesh I had been to Delhi in the year 2019. In one afternoon near about 4 00 pm the area called karolbag in new delhi I was standing in a bus stand besides a petroleum pump. I was standing to catch a bus and scrolling my phone suddenly one motorbike came and the person sitting behind the rider stole my phone and runaway. I had nothing to do. So my suggestion is where ever you move in India you need to be alert all the time there is no guarantee that you wouldn't rob no matter if it's day or night. Because what happened with me has happened at daylight in the middle area of new delhi the Capita of India.
