@@AmureX please stop doing that. i would do that too, and throw my phone to get it to work for a few minutes. eventually the glass loosened up, and when i threw it, it shattered the whole phone screen and now ghsot touch became 10x worse.

When this happened to me the first time I thought I was being hacked but it happened again and now I think there’s a ghost in my house messing with my ipad
the first time this happened it went to safari and started typing so i just looked at it and said “well I guess the demons are talking to me” and it typed “skbwkqofhwnhahabeheinagwusksb” I was like “very educational”
@Lily C the ghost touch typed that comment on its own and i got super flustered not being able to do anything about it anyway.. after some research i found out, theres nothing you can do about it on your own, so the best thing to do is go to the apple store and get it fixed. im currently just using my brothers phone untill i get my own fixed. sorry if thats not the answer you wanted to hear but i hope the insurance got it covered. (btw it gets baddd, but i found out that if you let it rest for a while you can use it for a couple secs to mins. and restarting ur phone is a terrible i idea bc i couldnt use my faceID and it kept typing the wrong password multiple times so i literally had to wait for a full hour. pain.)
It probably only acts like that when u have the charger in cause mine only acts crazy when I have it plugged up. But u might have to get it checked out🥺
When this happened to my phone and I thought someone hacked it so I kept on asking it questions and kept on telling to type if someone was messing with my phone😅😂

Moonlight Cookie mine too, but turning it off and on again works for only a few seconds to a few minutes if i’m lucky and then it won’t let me click anything and will be scrolling and clicking on its own again and i have to restart it

Yeah when I didn't tap anywhere on my phone yet, my phone randomly presses something and it is so annoying. My phone always taps the same spot, not any other spots

My iPhone is litterly acting crazy cause it’s multiplying my photos that I already had and it’s not letting me delete them it’s also wen someone calls it says called failed or wen they FaceTime me there’s 2 hang up buttons like one at the top and the other at the bottom and it’s not letting me open apps or search on the settings search thingy and it’s automatically deleting my search history and then wen I open safari again it’s there and also sometimes it deletes my contacts and then they come back I- please help me with this problem and I think it’s probably cause I have 63 outta 64 GB but idk
If anyone is still having this problem try turning down brightness and turning on night-shift mode on brightness setting, i know its only a temp fix but its working for me... hope this helps
Rob Sommers I do but sometimes it doesn’t go away unless I shut it off (which sometimes it goes away) and also I reset it but the ghost touch is still there unless the ghost touch goes away😭😭😭😩😤
I have had the exact same problem with my iphone 7 plus for about two months now, watched this video, switched to the standard apple charger a few days ago, and the problem is completely gone! Did a comparison by plugging the original charger (which was 3rd party) back in, and the problem returned within seconds. Switched to the apple charger, and it hasnt been an issue. Great video!! @@tftfxr56 I think the best way I found also is to let your phone reach that 20% "low battery" thing and then charge it until it reach 100%. Like don't ever unplug or use it. At some point, mine fixed itself when I have this specific IOS update but after updating it again, it went willy nilly again :

Also another tip: If you have a screen protector, an old, ripped, cracked, or loose one on the center or edges then remove it and see if that works. It may be pressing against it and the phone might think it’s your finger tip
@@bertenheimer did you try taking it off and leaving it off? Could be apple doesnt want you to use a screen protector because they want you to break your phone so you’ll buy a new one.

My phone is not cracked, but for some reason when I try using one of my apps or just keep it on the home screen, it starts going crazy as hell, swiping the thing up, and putting itself on random things.
Can a protective glass screen saver cause apps to open on their own? I've heard of a issue called "ghosting" in which apps open because of a glass screen protector on iPhones.
My phone has never been cracked before. It suddenly started typing randomly and opening apps when just last night it was working perfectly fine. I've tried powering my phone off multiple times and letting it rest for hours. I've even tried resetting my phone from the settings and still nothing is working.
My phone has never acted like that, but my watch did once. One night, I just got out the shower to put on my watch, and it kept opening and closing different apps without my authorization.
I have my screen replaced 3 times with original pull display it worked fine for 2 months then again moving all ways. Is better to replace with a new compatible screen than a used original screen?
my password has the letter d and i’ve been trying to press it but it always clicks the letter next to it and if this happens to ur phone push on your screen/screen protector for a few seconds then try again. if it doesn’t work power of ur phone if that doesn’t work burn it.
This just recently started happening to me whereby apps are just launching on their own. My screen is not cracked so I doubt it needs replacing. I thought you were going to give some steps for fixing this issue in such instances but you didn't.

Najarie Allen Apple has very secure security features that would make it hard for anyone to hack into the device. Apple products have been known to have weird glitches.
