Hi! Thanks for the video! I had panic error on mic1, so I did replace the charging flex cable and port on my iphone SE 2 but it gave me mixed signals: first it was still restarting every three minutes, then it worked with no restart for more than an hour, then restarts and then every three minutes again, then works for 30 mins, then restarting every three minutes again. I havent done anything particular to it in the meanwhile. Would you have any next step to advise to sort this out? Thank you
@Sakis Nikitaras Does your charge port work? I saw a video and if your charge port is bad it causes it to reboot every 3 minutes. Mine does not charge thru port, only wireless. I will let you know.
will i lose my data if i get it fixed like this by someone else? need serious help as I have not backed up my phone in long and will lose many photos if that's the case
I mean by replacing the charging port you won’t loose any data. But if someone damage to the board then there will be an issue. But that is very rare. Also you can use a wireless charger to charge the phone to backup the data.
Hi thanks very much for a very informative Video. I was wondering if you could help me with this problem. I have a iPhone SE 2020 there is a small square bracket on the main logic board between the board and the tapic engine. I would like to know its function, there is an electrical contact point on it but it doesn’t seem to touch ground or any other electrical point. there is a ribbon from the charging port that sits on the tapic engine then this bracket sits on top and then it is screwed into place Could you please enlighten me….thanks in advance Cliff
Dam Idk.. I did a screen replacement in my old iPhone 5 and it was a little something something to it.. to make it easier I left me thumbprint reader in the broken screen just to save one step.. this one seem a little much… like he just kept taking stuff out amd taking stuff out….. and this is my main phone… I would be more inclined if I was already into a new phone and there wasn’t much consequence..
@@DIYGeardo u remove the old part and then put the new iphone chargeing port ....i want to know the new changeing port brand name...is it 3rd party charging port ???
I took it to shop and they checked it and was not drawing any amperage. I checked battery with multimeter and it was dead. Ordered new battery from Amazon. Hoping for the good.
Yeah there’s no left side speaker. Once they put the aux port on that side with the iPhone 5 that was the dead giveaway for me, if you haven’t already looked it up.
Well always good to have a heat gun.Sometimes you will need to soften the adhesive. You can use to soften the charging port flex adhesive. It is is not a must, but good to have it.

Yes you do!!!! Otherwise, how the hell are you gonna peel the lightning connector flex board unit from the chassis. The motherboard sits right on top of the lighting port unit. Rewatch the video & learn.
