iPhone SE 2020 vs iPhone XR Speed Test! - Hello all and welcome top this speed test comparison between the all new 2020 iPhone SE and Apple iPhone XR. The intentions of this video is to run both phones through a series of tests to see which one is generally faster. The 2020 iPhone SE features a 4.7" Retina display, Apple A13 Bionic chip, 3GB of ram, and iOS 13.4.1. The iPhone XR features a 6.1" Liquid Retina display, Apple A12 Bionic chip, 3GB of ram, and iOS 13.4.1. it's the same A13 chip, look at Max Tech's comparison, he got over 3300 on multi-core. Really not sure why you lower results

Yehya Qasem No it’s not that, a lot of people already confirmed that it’s due to the 3GB of RAM compared to 4GB. That brings down the score to about 25% lower than the 11 pro. CPU is exactly the same, and John Prosser confirmed this. If you have many apps are open in the background, and you run the geekbench test, that score will be even lower, which makes sense why Nick’s test shows such low results.

Smaller size and weight is the main reason I’m going back to the SE from the XR. However the faster processor is a plus. While I like the ability of pressing the home button to go back to the home screen fast on the SE, I'd prefer the nearly edge to edge screen and gesture nav of the XR. The one exception? I LOVE the old control center with a swipe from the bottom swipe of the older UI on the SE.

Geth Pathfinder to be honest. You get used to the size anyway. When I jumped from the 5 to a 7 I thought it would be alienating but after a day or two it just became seamless.

If you have an iPhone 6 or older - you definitely should upgrade to SE 2020. But if you have 6S, SE 2016 or newer - you shouldn’t. Because these devices working great on iOS 13

The SE is always crazy, beast and fast 💨. I love it 🥰 except not square design. I mean I prefer square body design.

Based on this there is such a little difference that I doubt anyone would be able to notice. Difference is the price and screen (size and bezels). The XR obviously has a nicer screen but personally I couldn’t resist the saving of the SE. A more interesting speed comparison video would be the SE vs. 6s.
