It's funny that I found this video after I'd done most of the stuff in it. I'd suddenly lost connection to my home wifi on my iPod touch even though I could see it via my iPod. All other devices in my household were still connected, including my iPad. On the router level, my attempt to connect could be seen twice successfully then followed with a fail. My iPod wasn't blocked by my router software either. Rebooting the router didn't help. No idea why! I did all the regular troubleshooting stuff on my iPod, switching wifi on and off, rebooting my iPod, resetting all network settings, backing up my iPod, wiping it then restoring from backup. That last bit worked for a short while but then I could no longer connect even though I could still see the network. I eventually noticed I could see entries in those fields in your video on my iPad but not on my iPod, so I went through and copied what was on my iPad. The only thing I did differently to this video was that I added what was in Search Domains as was in my iPad. I'm happy to report it worked! My iPod is now connected to our wifi!
