In this video i talk about the headphone mode problem i faced, everything from how i faced this to how i fixed it. This video is only applicable for iPhones with headphone jack.

Guys the best thing you can do which worked for me after i dropped my iphone se in the shower and left it there for 30 seconds is just to experiement with all the tips availible on youtube. Some people turn on airplane mode or use Q tips. But none of these will work straight away. I experimented for around a hour doing everything from Qtips to siri and voice activation and the alarm trick as well as the ringer trick and turning off my phone. What really worked for me was to get your phone really low in battery then let it charge to about 15% then completely shut it off. Then rip out a q tip then put it in the jack and keep pushing in quite hard and twist it. Do it for a long time around 15 minutes while ur watching tv aha. Then i got a bit of uncooked rice then put the phone under it for only 10 minutes. You take it out, get your q tip and there will be bits of rice inside your jack. Shake your phone to get it out and use the q tip to clean it. that worked for me. i think this worked not because of what i did but i tried everything and that added up to it being fixed so play around aha cause even i fixed it. I tried everything BUT !!! I came across a comment saying to update the software. At first, i was like??????? I was doubting it because I thought the problem was inside the headphone jack (because I dropped it in the tub). Then, I was like okay, it doesn’t hurt to try. AND Y’ALL IT WORKED !!!

Ok guys no video suggestions worked but I ended up getting a tooth pick and picking in the headphone jack and charging input and it started working INSTANTLY!!! Some fuzz came out and I think that’s what was stopping it from being in the regular sounds mode. I swear it works idk how but I hope that helps anyone!!! Good luck guys!!!!

i dropped my phone in the toilet and it was saying headphones were connected and my bluetooth was off and nothing was in the headphone jack. this is the 6th video i’ve watched abt this today and this comment helped me so much. i got a toothpick and started picking at the jack and then i turned my phone off and unlocked it and it worked!

I just fixed mine today. I stuck in Headphones mode for about two days. I tried everything, watch every tutorials on RU-vid but nothing worked. What I did to fix mine is I cleaned the headset port first by using a pin and cotton buds. After cleaning, I played a music on my iPhone while continue plugging and unplugging my headset. Just do it continuously and also press volume button to check if it changed from headphones mode to normal mode. Do it until it goes back to normal. Try it, that's the only solution that works for me. I hope it works for you too.

The cotton bud worked for me❤️don’t give up on it it took me a while play around with it maybe dampen it a tiny bit put it in and out and twist it a bit and just keep going you may see dirt coming off I hope this comment helped!!

Check the pins in ur headphone jack if they are rusted, if u live in a moist environment u may have to clean it regularly

All u have to do is get a hair dryer and let the heat blow on the charging jack or headphone jack then let it will cool off ‼️ at first it will say it’s still in headphone mode just say off of it and then try again a few mins later I just had this issue. Hope it works for u guys good luck🙃
