Hi Rich, Thank you for making this process so simple. I too will also be using the photo look up. I used to use the ‘send later’ to schedule reminder emails whilst on holiday from my computer. It great that my iPhone now has this function. Think I need to browse your previous videos to see what else I have been missing out on..😂

@@Alicia652 My guess is in a few weeks. I have the beta on my iPad and love it. I really like to pin lists in Reminders and that's an iPad os16 feature. I'm hoping the public version releases in the first half of October.

Hi Teresa! Sometimes these things can be a little gimmicky, but honestly, I will definitely use the photo feature that identifies objects, plants and such. I'll probably use the photo cutout feature for gags. I'm going to put a picture of my wife in the ring with Mike Tyson - stiff like that! And the notes thing is pretty helpful too. Hope you're doing well.
In the photo lookup, you mentioned you can look up most everything including cars, etc. Are you sure? I can use mine for plants, but even a squash I took a picture of did not identify it. I also tried a car since you mentioned it, and no go. Am I missing a setting or something? I love identifying flowers and plants, the other items would be nice, too. Thanks for all of the tips you give us seniors. 😀
So my sister texted me just now and said the same thing. It's learning though artificial intelligence. I misspoke about the car. Before I made the video I tested it on a bunch of stuff and it worked. I even read Apple literature on the feature. But I think I made a mistake on the car reference (though I think that's coming soon). Also, I failed to mention this feature needs to be turned on in Settings (though it is by default). But some viewers might have turned it off by mistake. I apologize for the error.
Regarding quick notes. I believe the list of options varies with the carrier. I use Tracfone and I don’t have the same options as you do. I would love to have your options!
@@RichBowlin I do like the Add Stop feature to the Maps app, though! That's a game changer. I really love your videos, and wonder if there is a way to take your YT videos and put them in our Notes app. I know I can create a folder on YT, but I'd like it to be more specialized, and I'm in Notes more than YT.
@@1wholovestrees With your iPad in split screen mode, You should be able to drag the video over to an Apple note. I've not done this often, but I have done it a few times when I want to save important videos.

Yes,it’s really nice. The Dynamic Island iPhone pro was out of my budget. That’s what I would get too,if it’s in your range.Plus the pro model has a 6.7 inch screen as opposed to the 6.1 which is the one I got.But the screen is a lot bigger anyway because of the bezels. Every time I pick it up I discover something new. I you get one let me know. I will be watching out for the video of course.Thanks for responding.Have a great day.
@@hov3968 Thanks for the info. I'm getting close to pulling the trigger. I don't always update every year because the phones are so expensive. But the dynamic island feature looks like it would be quite helpful in the way I use the phone.
@@RichBowlin ha,now I’m thinking about going back to the store and upgrading to the iPhone 14 pro max with the Dynamic Island. Now I only got 128 gb internal storage.Can you imagine the 1 TB of storage. I can tell you that the wallpaper selection is a lot, and all kinds of customizations.Also you can send a message and retrieve it if you realize it needed changes.Long story short it’s amazing. Let me know what you decide.

Today is October 28. I have an update. iOS 15.7.1. It says iOS 16 is available but my phone doesn’t say to download it. I have an iPhone SE 2022. It’s a new phone. I chose it because I don’t want a huge phone that doesn’t fit in my pocket. Why does my phone not tell me to update iOS 16?
I have an SE 2nd gen and although I have iOS 16.1.2, some of these features don’t seem to work like the plant identification and the cutting away of the background. Is that what I should expect with my phone?
