This is what so many people miss. It baffles me that tech has become a tribalistic “us vs them” thing. People proudly declaring why they’re somehow superior because of their phone choice 😂🤦♂️ Bottom line - There are cheap phones and expensive phones. People are free to spend their money where they please. It’s bewildering that we spend any time arguing about this stuff.
Exactly. I’m never in a hurry for a new phone. We’re in a period of tech where everything has pretty much evened innovation-wise, so I’m never in a hurry to “upgrade”
The problem with iPhones is that you don’t see a difference if you upgrade every year. Most sane people will buy a new iPhone every 3-5 years to get an actual upgrade.
Same could be said about the galaxy phones too. Although most Android users will point to what’s driving the phone, internals, yet is the same for iPhone, it’s the internals what count not looks.
It should be a common thing for companies to make a new phone to release with 2 years gap. Because the "new" is so small its nothing. I changed my s20 to s21 2 years after because s22 was bad with battery. Then bought s23 because it came with snapdragon. Gonna have it at least 2-3 years
@@MADED1TS well cases are a thing lmao but that is true it is pointy but the thickness is not a problem because even Samsungs are thick and heavy. because there all glass and stainless steel also they need the thickness for bigger batteries
@@lime-animates-2763 that really proves how much you know about phones. There were no galaxy 11 and 13. If you're gonna make a point, back it up with the research to not make yourself look like a complete IDIOT
A guy in my class was flexing his iPhone and we were like its so common now it ain't a flex anymore and he said but... 3 cameras? The whole group laughed their ass off Edit : y'all confused He didn't mean it's a big thing to have three cameras He meant iPhone with three camera (he has a pro model)
@@Darth_PatatoeAndroid is using a better messaging service (RTS) and iPhone is using SMS, which is older and worse. Hence the green texts from androids
Actually with newer models they regularly introduce features only available on the newest iPhone. With battery life aside the iPhone 12 is better in almost every way. The iPhone 12 has a squared off edge like the older I phone 4 keep in mind the iPhone 4 was smaller and didn’t have a great camera. You still had the home button meaning even less screen space. The iPhone 12 has a brighter screen and an A14 chipset which doesn’t just improve the overall performance but gives the camera a better quality. The iPhone 12 has a better multitasking system and is available to run larger apps same due to the A14 chipset The iPhone 12 could also support iOS longer. So not only does it have a older feel but it has the newer tech of the two phones.
In some regards it’s actually a downgrade. They didn’t carry Pro Motion from the iPhone 13 Ps and PMs to the iPhone 14 Ps and PMs. Pro-Motion makes apple screen run at 120Hz. It’s not that big of a deal tbh, outside of mobile gaming that is.
Hate to be the “um actually” guy but that particular one was a bad example, the iPhone 11 still used an LCD screen and didn’t have access to 5g, while the 12 series (all) became oled screens and they gained 5g, plus the flat edges that they mentioned in the video
Nah, she didn’t the whole video was just a joke, cause that’s such a bad example of what changes are made in the different iphones… and u heard at the conversation that it was just a joke video cause that is not how an Iphone vs Android conversation works if one has an android and the other one has an iphone
To be fair top end Androids are actually just about as expensive if not more (Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is $1199 to start with while iPhone 14 Pro Max is $1099) BUT Android has way more budget phones that are cheaper and more worth it than Apple's $429 iPhone SE (I'm using a $150 or so Oppo A57 that has a better screen and possibly better battery life than the SE) even though yes it is much weaker in performance but that doesn't matter to me that much
@@SHINeeWORLDDDDDIphone is optimized, Android is raw power, Android can do raytracing but still get shit fps, Ios is weaker but smoother due to less phone releases and optimization, If android phones spend more time in optimization, Ios would get fucking destroyed
@@justastupidduckwithahat6393 LG stopped making phones last year, and there was a glitch in Verizon's system such that some LG phones were no longer supported. If it were for that, it would've lasted longer, maybe even another 6 years (even with me constantly dropping it all the time)
What's the difference between a s10 and an s20? What's the difference between an s22 and an s23? There's a clear difference in them. For iphones you look at a phone and you are like "is that a iPhone 13 or a iPhone 12... shit I can't tell"
Not true in the slightest they maybe somewhat similar software wise but almost always the specs will different and the third party android phones are also all different from each other so try AGAIN
@@Heythebrodyboy and tell me the difference between s7/edge and s6/ edge hmm? Oh oh wait what about s22 ultra s23 ultra and s24 ultra ??? Oh oh ohhh ok what about s21/plus and s22/plus, still trying to hear..
Even though this is just a skit there is an extremely noticeable difference in performance it’s like saying the Samsung galaxy 7 is the exact same as the s23 or s22
@@NVSoap and these people would say that Androids are laggy. Like come on I have a Google Pixel 7 Pro and it's very smooth 😭. And yes there are noticable changes in Samsungs, idk why these iSheeps are complaining about our phones 😭
Bottom line the iPhone 12 Pro Max has stainless steel, much bigger cameras, OLED screen, 120Hz screen, Much better battery, and yes, the sharp edges. Seriously girl, what phone do you have. Also don’t buy a new phone every year android or iPhone, doesn’t matter.
@@TopGigaChad96 i mean I purposefully got an iPhone that has the hardware of an 8 or something (the 2023 SE) because the software and chip and stuff in it is the same as like the fourteen, just cheaper Also you accidentally replied twice
@@JustAnIdiot6969 what Pixel are you using?😂Even the Pixel 6 pro from years back offers more value than the I phone 15!! And dont even start with the Pixel 7.
@@averycuulduckdj you are one step away from bleating... the pixel 6 pro which is going for around $400 offers far more value than any iPhone out RN. Put their spec sheets side by side and if you don't feel dumb paying $700- 1000 for the iPhone then just know you are officially an Apple sheep
