With accessibility button you can also assign presses to it, and have 3 different commands in one. Single tap for something, double tap for something else and long press for a third command.
These aren’t helpful.. they’re not hidden features and they just take more effort.... who’s gonna turn on assistive touch, go through all the buttons just to turn the volume down???
Well, sometimes when you drop your phone, some outside functionalities stop working. it happened with my sisters tablet (It was old I think it was an ipad 2) The assistive touch is a life saver.
Just because YOU know these features doesn’t mean that everyone else does. There could be someone who is just getting their first iPhone and know nothing about it. I had an iPhone for a while and I didn’t know half of these so this video was very helpful.👍🏾❤️
@lucas servera The sarcasm and lack of gratitude so many of these guys have posted is so irritating. This guy put in time & effort to make this video to help people & make a few bucks along the way, there’s nothing wrong with that at all. It’s Human nature I guess. SMH 🤦🏾♂️
i got the 7plus for two yrs but i will change it soon , i’m thinking to get the XR bc the battery is bigger + the 8 plus is a nice phone but idk and the iphoneX smh !!! help
No don’t listen too him. I just upgraded from the 128gb 7 plus through T-Mobile and used jump. Saved me a lot of money and the phone is awesome. The screen is sharper than the 7 plus you can actually see the screen when it’s sunny outside. Unless you plan on watching RU-vid videos or Netflix vids all day. I can justify paying over 1k for a phone.. When I have a 4K tv.. and Surface pro..that’s a down payment on a car or a used Honda..But to each their own
Who? I’m getting coral if it doesn’t look like peach. Gonna go see it in an apple store this weekend. If not coral im getting black so the whole phone looks a similar colour , and the thicker bezels are then harder to notice
Duckman 1979 because these are for every iPhone not iPhone XR and half of these tips have been around since like iPhone 6 not to mention there not hidden
@@trophyking3606 I have just bought an iphone xr and found this very helpful. Never had iphone before and always basic phone and text nokia and then doro. So for someone with a blank canvas this video helped no end. Yes for mugs like me with no experience this is a must view and learn.
Great tips! Thanks for sharing. Just got my XR yesterday:). So far, really like it. Just waiting on the Mous case to arrive to keep it safe:) Another one I've been using even on my 6s is go into notes, then hit the arrow to compose, click on that "+" sign, you'll get a pop up with several options. One is to take a photo or video. It may not seem like that great of option but when you use it, the photo or video stays in your notes. It does not wind up mingled in your photos. Just an example, I take photos of business cards. If you make a heading, "Business Cards", you start typing it into the search bar in your notes, then hit the + and take a picture of the new business card. It adds it to the existing so you wind up with a running list of business cards. Or if you have a favorite pic to show, like a grandchild, or your dog, you won't be dilly dallying looking through all your ever growing photos.
You forget 1 more hidden feature; Go to settings/General/Accessibility/Speech then enable Speak Selection & enable Speak Screen. Now go to emails for example, Highlight any text then from the popup menu select speak, or if you want to hear the whole text, just swipe down with 2 fingers from the top of the screen to hear the content of the screen. This is a nice feature if you get long emails, also you can use it with Safari, WhatsApp, etc...
All of you IHaters out here please know this video isn’t for you. Us android users that are looking to switch need this info. Stop with the IHating. Sheesh!!!

Extremely useful video for us iPhone newbs! I love the way you explain why you'd want to use the features you talk about, not just how to use/find them, very helpful, thanks!
