@FatBananakid 76 I think it comes down to how much paid investment in the OS of choice. If you have bought lots of apps on iOS then it's a tough ask to switch to Android. I think both the iPhone 8 and mate 20 are better value. The iPhone 8 is a similar experience but cheaper. The mate 20 has a lot more features etc. I have bought the mate 20 pro because I have paid for Android apps so IOS is not really an option.

FatBananakid 76 I’m not familiar with Huawei to make a judgement on that, but the triple camera system seriously doesn’t do much for me. I’m pretty much off android as I have nothing but bad experiences using them, plus Googles privacy allegations have kept me seriously on edge on even recommending them to other people. I say the XR is a good buy but once again I’m commenting on android as a whole, not too familiar with Huawei. Also the in screen fingerprint is actually slower than faceID and not as secure, so I can’t see it being a benefit.

Before that I had the iPhone 5, bought a brand new 5s when it was on sale, and had Samsung phones. The XR would be my first time buying the newest phone

the Xr is around the same price as the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus, it's meant to be the continue of the iPhone 8, and the X and Xs are the new premium versions (stainless steel frame really jack the price up)

KushMere! It’s not though. The iPhone 5C was a worse version of a year old iPhone. The iPhone Xr is just as fast as the more expensive iPhones, has the same biometrics and same camera. The iPhone 5C had a worse 32-bit SoC, worse camera, lacked TouchID and cut the base storage in half. Aside from the colors, they don’t compare at all.

Seriously, the light in all these Hawaii videos has been so amazing. The light from 10:20 on is just incredible. I know they're probably augmenting it with lighting, but the natural light is most of it and it's beautiful. And agreed, that lens was perfect.

the Augmented Reality shopping is actually very useful. cause usually in online shopping the sizes from the photo can be deceiving. so at least with AR you get a sense of their IRL size/shape. or you gonna store an item in your house, you can see if it fits the area.

I've been saving for like, forever, for an new iPhone. And I have and iPhone 5. Which is so old it can't even update to iOS 10. Its camera is super grainy, it has no Touch ID, and the screen is sooooo cracked. And it's a 16 gig phone, which basically accounts or the predownloaded apps you can't delete, my contacts, and three apps. I can only have less that 100 pics on it too. It is extremely slow too. And it was passed down to me by by two older siblings, so it's pretty beat up.
