I currently have my iPhone XS (that I’m watching on) and the XR. I plan on keeping both until they become obsolete. The XS is the most attractive iPhone they ever made. Phone still works well.
Still using Iphone XS here in 2024 with a 76% battery health, i could say i can still use it for atleast 4-5 hours just by watching videos from facebook or youtube
I've just upgraded from the XS to a 13 Mini. I knew I was changing my XS this year, because of the impending loss of the latest iOS (that I need for my Apple Watch), but the (lack of) battery health hastened my upgrade. I did love my XS so, regarding people purchasing it in 2024, l'd say "Go for it, ... but only if you DON'T use an Apple Watch". If I didn’t have my Watch, I’d have just got a new battery. Bought one yesterday as a work phone, and im pleasantly surprised. I went from an iPhone 7 Plus to an iPhone 11 Pro Max then 13PM, and now currently on a 14PM so never used the XS. But I was so surprised at how well it performs even in 2024, I really wasn't expecting much, like I literally got it to take a few calls, few texts an email but I was so surpised at it's performance, and the battery has been decent, now it really isn't good, and tbf ive been very spoilt, given the 11 Pro Max and 13 Pro Max were battery monsters, but it's been great. One goat thing, 3D TOUCH Holy shit, I miss it - I look at my 14 Pro Max in disgust 3D Touch is so good I wish they still had that. Now the 60hz screen looks choppy from 120hz but the phone itself isn;t slow, like it's not that far behind even a 14 Pro Max loading things. Overall im so impressed with it in 2024.
@@isaac_637 Not really, but I’m probably not the best use case as it’s just a work phone so it’s used for light tasks I’ve played a few games on it scrolled social media and it’s been fine
@@isaac_637 Can’t say much, my XS is just a work phone so it’s light use. But they’re a similar chipset so I’d imagine A11 and A12 have similar performance and heat
sold my 13 Pro, bought the S24 Ultra and it’s the first phone i broke in 10 years, 40kg gym plates fell on it and it’s rip. since i can’t use the S24 and sold my 13 Pro, i have to use the Xs. the Xs to be honest, even in 2024 is fine. the feel is amazing, love the small phones, it’s just a little heavy:). the cameras are okayish when it comes to photos, amazing for videos, just like up to apple standard. the battery life is surprisingly okay. 84% battery health. display is good, 60hz doesn’t bother me but i can definitely tell the difference when it comes to brightness.
Im still using xs till this day..mine is 256gb n it’s perfect n more than enough for my usage..i standby power bank n charge at work..so i never have any battery issue..only thing i feel incomplete is ultra wide camera..other than that it can last me myb 1-2 more years
0:52 I actually think the phone in this video is an iPhone X not an iPhone XS. I know there's no obvious way to tell them apart but I recently learnt that the speaker grills on the bottom of the phone are symmetrical for iPhone X ( i.e. same number of holes on both sides of the charging port for the X ) and not symmetrical for the XS. And also the photos and video samples have a more contrasty look like that of an iPhone X instead of a more HDR look like that of the iPhone XS. Just an observation.

White iPhone XS is the best looking iPhone ever beat up Pacific Blue 12 Pro which i super love, and iPhone 3,4,5,12 also 15 Pro. I wish Apple use this design again for some future iPhone like SE 4,5 may be, put 120hz display, flag chip CPU GPU Ram&Power into it. I'll buy it how many it cost.
Great video, reason i have the 11 pro is because its small, and has the rounded edges and the iconic notch same as the 10 and 10s, and the performance in camera and gaming is way too close to the latest from apple for me to be changing my phone yet, and most people don’t care about 120hz , my eyes aren’t slow motion cameras 😂😂😂😂😂
had my xs max since 2019 till last month and had no problems with, was super fast great camera and top performance even with heavy usage and is planned for ios 18.. would have kept using it still if it didnt get completely destroyed
new subscriber here im upgrading from a 6s and i cant afford a new phone since im on a tight budget my only concern with buying this phone used is the possibility of oled screen burn in thoughts
i mean, if u already own one then it's still kinda good, but if u should buy one now.. ofc not haha. i have an iphone xr and i still use it everyday (85% BH altho i have to charge it at least twice a day lol) it's a bit slow yeah but it does the job
what happened to the 6s video editing able to make movie previews straight from your phone? i haven't owned an iPhone since then but that phone was the shit. 4k slow mo and editing software on the phone. im no tech junkie and don't know the peak performance of use from even a mid range phone but that 6s i had made sense to me
I can also use xs it’s really petty good but only 2 reason this phone have problem one reason is her battry not long time use if you are heavy uses you charge her full day 2 or 3 time if your are not heavy uses then 2 time and you are only one purpose u buy this phone call and you tube and some app then you will use 1 day and last big reason her heat problem that’s the 2 reason this phone promblem if u skip these 2 reason the phone best 🎉
I have an iphone 15 pro max right now but I just can't justify having a $2200 AUD phone when all I do is listen to music and check emails LMFAO so I'm probably going to sell it and buy an iphone xs and jailbreak it so I can do pretty much anything
