It's not a problem for Americans. Whatever the price, they can buy an iPhone : ecosystem, resale value, bla bla bla, we already know 😅. They can afford it.
Americans can NOT afford it. They'll simply lock themselves into debt with carriers to be able to buy them, and then complain when a phone isn't supported by carrier X or Y, and updates come late 🤣
Most Americans are living hand to mouth, many go into debt to pay for iPhones. Credit card debt has already exceeded $1Trillion in this country. So no most Americans cannot afford a new iPhone.
Some Americans have no problem paying for an iPhone but many just pay for an iPhone over two and three years so they don’t really own it. I don’t know where you get your information, but most Americans are struggling financially maybe the top one percent have no problems but the rest of us simply trending water with our heads just above the waterline financially.
@@jejunamja I own a 13 Pro which cost me 1279€ in France. I don't know how it in us dollar but everytime i discuss, it's like owning an iPhone in the US is as easy than breathing or eating a burger. It's just normal, also regarding at smartphones sales numbers in USA. Again, i didn't want to hurt nobody's feelings.🙂
@@iAfroTech no I mean I understand they're more expensive outside the US but I want to reiterate people have them on two and three year contracts so yes each month it may not seem like a lot but you're paying it over 24 to 36 months so it ends up being expensive I always get my iPhones used so I have a 13 mini which I bought used and it was quite a bit less than what it was new but that's how I afford an iPhone
More expensive!!! If launching low technology devices, with hardly no inovation, struggling to reach the level of quality of a S23 Ultra launched several months ago, justifies a raise on the price.... This is a shareholders company trying to pump even more money from the Apple fans. Really a shame! It's a pity most of the Apple users don't even figure that they are being taken lots of money, with no justification or value compared to the competition. Apple haven't even had the guts to launch a foldable.... Where's the innovation at this company. Steve Jobs must be very sad watching this lack of innovation.
Then he goes out and buys a Samsun or Sony....Lol. Tell me how innovative those are year to year. smh. iPones last far longer than most other manufacturers. Period. Lack of innovation? Lol that's hilarious. Nobody has to pay full price. It's called trade in. If you are one of those who gets a new iPhone every year it's still half price with trade in. Most iPhone users keep the phone for 3 years. Still get a hell of a trade in. They hold their value far far better than any android phone.
@@Techfanatic73 exactly iPhones are built to last and last they do plus iPhones still beat as well as iOS being superior when it comes to app development and quality.
@@Gurenn83 outside of the foldable what have they innovated since? The Apple Vision Pro is. True innovation that’s actually useful while foldables are nothing more than a niche gimmick altogether I’d consider a Pixel Fold and especially an IPhone foldable. As I only like Pixel phones on the Android side, I wouldn’t give Samsung or anyone else my money on Android.
As someone who lives in a country where iPhones and Macbooks are $200-$300 more expensive than in the US, we are already used to it. An iPhone 13 Pro 256GB here is a whopping $1,375. 😆
if z flip 5 had better cameras, even on the level of S23 base model, I'd go for that phone. cameras just aren't good enough. I'd really prefer them to be like pixel or iPhone level, which is still probably better overall imo. I get the size and maybe even price constraints for the flip, but the fold has no excuse not to have an absolute flagship level camera
Not even true in the slightest. Huge difference between the 10 and the 15 lol. You android fanboys always point out "Not much changed " then go out and buy the latest galaxy phone lol. At this point of phone maturity Not every phone is completely different from the year before. That makes zero sense for phone makers to have huge costs changing everything every single year. Every few years they might change the looks of it. It's no different than cars. Do you see people complain about the new model of car every single year because not doesn't look different? No. every 5 or 6 years maybe they will change the model and how it looks.
Man the Z fold 6 better come with a better camera, wider frame for wider cover screen, the spen i would like it to be integrated but if its like the fold 5 in the case then for me im ok.. but i didn’t upgrade to the fold 5 and would def not upgrade tot he fold 6 if those changes are not made..
The only thing that did hold me from buying the Fold 4 was the camera compared to the Ultra, then I waited for the Fold 5 and was not impressed. The Fold 6 is looking to be not worth the wait. What a shame.
Great content. If they paid 50 bucks for the titanium infused with an aluminum frame, they got ripped off. Know if the frame was 100% pure grade 5, then I can see them paying 50 bucks.
If the S24 U is 30% more efficient in battery, you are looking at a phone that will last 2 days for power users. I already get a 1.5 days with 10-11 hrs of SoT insane
Imagine charging people more money to buy the same phone two years in a row without a meaningful design change, or anything to make people truly feel like they're getting a new phone. Titanium is a cool marketing schtick, but regular consumers don't care. Change the damn design, they've been using the same stove top module since the iPhone 11.
Apple needs to get rid of the 128 GB of storage and just stick with the 256 for the stand storage and 512 and one terabyte of storage And for the regular models will get the two options and the pro models will get all three options for the storage we do a lot on our devices we need more storage This should be the new storage options moving forward
The bad camera is the reason why I am sticking with my s21 ultra. If they put the same cameras in there as the s21 ultra or slightly better I will buy it on day one
Damn!!!! Breaking News: Apple just announced another event on 30th October! Sorry, Qualcomm and Samsung, as it just makes you feel sorry for all other tech news. 🤭😁
Apple shouldn’t raise their prices because there is no innovation. If you compare what a samsung ultra can do compared to iphone pros, samsung phones are above and beyond better. Apple better upgrade their game if they do increase their price, no more boring phones and more innovation.
@@kfx3907 iPhones are about quality and reliability over quantity and inferior products case in point, Samsung’s shoddy quality control with exploding batteries.
All you fanboys talk about price like Samsung doesn't charge the same or more for what you get. Lol. Like apple is going anywhere. Apple hasn't changed the price for like 8 years. Not only that you can get a iPhone for 599 now. Apple has cheaper phones now than they historically have ever. Apple isn't forcing you to get the pro max.
@@Techfanatic73yeaaaa isn't forcing you 😂😂 Then why did they put the last years chip and a 120hz display on the vanilla 14 and 15 models The iPhone 14 vanilla is literally the 13 named 14, no joke, no cap, it's completely 1000% identical Iphones aren't overpriced you say Iphone 11 vanilla 64gb costs 400€ in my country for that money I can get oneplus 10t 256gb 16gb ram models snapdragon 8gen+1 with 120hz amoled and gorilla glass 5 display protection , 4years os updates, simple clean smooth software with better videos and photos, but you won't believe that because you're fanboy and you won't check any tests.
Time to move to other foldable, if Samsung takes their loyal customers support for granted. Huawei X5 oppo open honour etc once they go global. Can't wait.
i just switched over to android from apple , got the pixel 8 pro and im not going back to apple any time soon . pixel was cheaper than the iphone 15 and its just as good if not better and ive had 4 iphones in a row ...... never again .
@@GH0STST4RSCR34M I know that he is talking about america and I'm just saying that in some countries there are already phones close to $2k for base variant and more than 2k for highest variants.
Apple could go the way they did this year with the 15 Pro Max making the 256GB a base storage which is more expensive but the cost of the phone didn’t go up only the storage you’re paying for. So I can understand if the regular 16s had a base storage of 256GB
In a sense, it would be a price increase because they are forcing people to pay for more storage. What if people are happy with the lower base storage. That's an extra $100 people didn't have to pay. Apple charges a premium for increased storage. According to Bard with current NAND prices, it's cost around $25-$30 to add an extra 128GB of storage.
@@tamwilfredit doesn’t matter what people are happy with. Margin has to be maintained. Unlike android OEMs, Apple doesn’t lose money…EVER. You don’t amass billions in the bank in cash by worrying about such things. They are less concerned with what people feel they are happy with, and more of what they can convince you to be happy with.
Apple has nothing to worry about, it has captured the most important "consumer" demographic (18-24). So as long as it stays relevant with the youth, it will never NOT make a health profit.
I think people complaining about the iPhones getting more expensive needs to realize that the component costs are rising and Apple didn’t even raise the price of the iPhone 15 series like everyone thought they would and Apple can’t continue to absorb the rising prices of components so Apple raising prices of next year’s iPhones is inevitable and we know that Android OEMs, like Samsung in particular will copy Apple in raising their prices.
