Container Park is an outdoor shopping mall and entertainment venue located at the corner of Fremont Street and 7th Street in Las Vegas, NV. The two year long project was intended to revitalize Downtown Las Vegas.
The grand opening for Container Park was held on December 5, 2013 which included a ribbon cutting ceremony with LV Mayor, Carolyn G. Goodman. Most of the project is supplied by IPME, X Cube, and ConGlobal's shipping containers which have been modified into beautiful architecture reflecting a modern, unique look by Breslin Builders.
The 56,000 square ft project includes fashion retail, a trendy barbershop, various food and beverage spots, an observation tower, VIP area, an immersion dome, a large children's playground area, and a built-in stage for live performances and public concerts. Most noticeably is Container Park's 40 foot long steel Praying Mantis which can be seen occasionally shooting out fire by Container Park's entrance. Additionally, there is a customized three story container elevator adjoining the retail spaces.
With just under 40 businesses that will be operating at Container Park, the types of businesses you will find there definitely match the unique atmosphere. Container Park is among one of the most impressive projects for IPME, and the end result is nothing less than the ingenious work that Breslin Builders can produce.
