Hi sir, 12:00 just an update... your UPI and your zerodha linked bank account need not be same, I had raised the ticket for it to clarify at support of zerodha. Primary Account holder of UPI should be same as PAN mapped to zerodha. Basically they check PAN mapping.
Wrong Sir, you mentioned about over-subscription scenario. The lot size remains same, the allocation of shares remains unaffected followed by a lottery method of allotment. It doesnt reduce the lot size, even if over subscribed. Do correct me sir, If I am wrong
If my name on PAN CARD is let's say ANSH and in bank account it is ANSH . ..... Means there is fullstop in last name of later one where as it is simply ANSH in the former one .... Will there be any effect on ipo allotment??? .... Pls. Note - I will be using Groww App... Where the demat account is already linked to pan card and I don't face any challenges when I purchase shares after listing.
Mere 1 saal ki beti ka demat account khul sakta hain? If yes to kya woh demat se ipo apply ho sakti hain ? If yes to kya woh ipo application ko alag pan no (child pan no) mana jayega ki mera pan no mana jayega?
If we invest Rs 100 in a 2 times over subscribed IPO, we don't get shares worth Rs 50. Instead shares are alloted to 50% of the people. You may or may not get the shares but in case if you don't you GET YOUR FULL MONEY BACK.
1. In Retail Quota shares are allotted in Lots only, either we'll get 1 lot or no allotment, its not possible to get less than a lot, its binary lottery system. (Proportionate allotment is followed in case of HNI/NII Quota) 2. Bank account used for IPO application need not be the one linked with the Demat account.
For point 2 , yes need not be the one linked with the Demat, but the other account should also be the demat account holders only - shouldn't be another persons. # simply demat account holders UPI should only be used - not friends / family's - in that any account of his/her of their own choice. # Cross checked this info with SEBI & Angel broking # If you pay via - someone UPI - other than demat account holders - yes amount will be blocked - and unblocked - but allocation won't be given for sure - practically happened with me.
@@anysha1083 Simple - Suppose I have 2 bank accounts : SBI, HDFC. For my demat account , I linked SBI - and for my upi apps I linked both and kept HDFC as primary bank. Now when I bid for an IPO - I will apply via upi - when I get payment mandate to my upi - I pay via HDFC. ( we can also choose to pay between SBI, HDFC by changing bank while entering upi pin) . Note - on my observation - In Phone pe app - we have same upi id for all - no matter how many bank accounts you link. But for Google pay (Gpay app ) - you will have two upi id's - for two bank accounts linked. Example : For SBI account upi id will be - "thor@oksbi" and for HDFC account upi - in same Gpay app will be "thor-1@oksbi". So if u use Gpay for upi - if you want pay via SBI use thor@oksbi , if you want pay via HDFC - use thor-1@oksbi. But for Phone pe, since same upi id for both accounts - you will have a option to choose between the banks at the time of payment. ( Thumb rule - Both back accounts should be demat account holders only.)

1 thing you missed I guess...that IPO will always be allocated in lots not in shares, also allotment works on maximum happiness index means if ipo is over subscribed then if you will apply for 1 lot, 2 lot or max 13 lot, you will be allotted 1 lot max or you will not get any thing. Note: This is for Retail Investors, HNI and NII work in different ways. PS: This is my understanding, if any discrepancies plese correct me. Thanks😊

Hello sir, Agar ipo apply karte time hum cut off price par bid karte hai and also bid at lower price. And general public apply at lower price than cut off price. Then at what price i would get my ipo shares whether at cut off price or at lower price bid. Kindly guide.
