The only problem I have with Ibadan history is that they normally write in history books that Ibadan and Abeokuta were founded in 1830s. But the history and civilization of both cities predates 1830. Same with Yoruba history, we all make it seem as if oduduwa brought civilization to ife, when we know there has been kingship and people living in ife before oduduwa !
Look at the map of Nigeria and the 36 States plus FCT. See where Ondo State is located and proximity to the Atlantic Ocean. That is what Ààrẹ Lájì Abass is talking about.. Ondo State can conveniently have a seaport.
