This is an experiment with Ableton Live 10 and Captain Chords 5.
I created two different versions of the same chord sequence. The first has a smooth beat and the second has a slightly choppier beat.
Then I alternated these two chord sets and found stock instruments from Ableton that complemented the beats.
There are no effects on the tracks. I wanted to see if I could create interesting combinations with no echo/reverb/modulation, etc.
The first and last sets have two sounds overlayed on each other. I liked how both sounded together. I may come back to these two sounds to make a finished product out of these.
The chord progression is a bit complex. I'm learning about how to control chords, so I'm having fun with this software. For music students and professionals, this may be a bit of a mess but it seems to work.
