We lived in the maisonettes at the bottom of Birkfield Drive, Chsntry, by Gyppeswyk Park .. all gone now, even the woods and the park have been left to grow tattered

I ended up going down a rabbit hole of history, lived around the area for most of my life. It’s kind of sad how Ipswich is so rich in history and nobody really knows about it like they used too.

Brilliant. It's sad to see Ipswich now, its an absolute dump, ruined. I grew up there in the 70s and had a great childhood, but nowadays theyve wrecked it

I used to play in the Lower Arbortum as a child in the 60's - we lived at 22, Fonnereau Road, having moved there from 44, Cobbold Street
