Thoughts on Sheffield Wednesday, what’s gone wrong ??

As an Ipswich Fan I have to say, the Sheff Wed supporters who contributed to this post were knowledgeable and it is such a shame that the club is in such a mess. After the 4-0 comeback, I thought you would come into this season with a lot of belief, but when Moore was sacked it became clear that sadly it would be a struggle. We at Ipswich had years of struggle with off the pitch stuff, so know what it is like, which is why it is so pleasurable at the moment for us. good luck

Ipswich fan here. Hell of a contrast to the two fixtures last season which were both cracking close games between two top sides. Still can't believe DM was booted before season.

I know it was a pretty miserable day for Owls fans but l think we all take for granted what a pleasure going to football matches is these days. You only really appreciate if you were going in the 70s when it was horrible. I am a Town fan living in Chester and on a Saturday across the north the trains are full of thousands fans criss crossing the country. And l cannot tell you what a pleasure it is to visit Sheffield again and it’s wonderful people

You can see the frustration in you Lee & that is something you will only let your club change for you. You are a positive man but can see that today's escapade has taken a lot out of you. It is clear that everyone's club affects their moods but you have to leave as much of the gloom at the stadium & re-energise for the next game. Of course you know I am real pleased with Ipswich winning, but just keep supporting your team, things will change at some point. A lot can & will happen over the season. Uppa Towen 🔵⚪

Sad to see the state of the club mate. I know the feeling all too well. Supporters like yourself deserve so much better, and that's not just about the emotional side seeing your team win. Off the pitch is equally important, we all want our clubs to be healthy and in good hands. As far as this game went I have a bit of a soft spot for Ipswich courtesy of my late dad who talked about them when I was a young lad and how good they were at the time.

really hope things can turn around for Wednesday, us at Ipswich know all about ownership / managerial issues. If the fans keep their voices heard, hopefully you can bring in new ownership and things will get better with time! Pleased with the result, all the best for the rest of the season.

Wednesdays biggest mistake, letting go of Darren Moore

Shame that a club like Wednesday are in such a state. Wrong owner can quickly ruin a club. It happened to us. However there is always hope and plenty of time to fix it

The chairman has mad a big mistake, the manager doesn’t know what he’s doing, no shots on target and we supposed to be playing attacking football, he will be gone before end of October

Middlesbrough game might be Xisco's last. Town could've played without a keeper today and you still wouldn't have scored

I think Wednesday are responsible for the fans disappointment. Xisco has bought too many midfielders and a crap striker who has never scored goals. The blame for this, and for DM leaving, lies directly at our totally inept owner. As we sang yesterday, it’s time for him to sell to someone who actually knows how to run a football club. Until that happens we will never go anyway other than down. I fully expect another defeat to put us firmly bottom on Tuesday because I don’t see where the goals will come from while playing one up top at home.

Real shame Lee that you witnessed such a mess from your home team. Must affect the players with the turmoil going on behind the scenes. Great that you got to meet Gabe Sutton, the 2 Alex's and your little Sheff Wed Fabian. Shame he was a little out in his score prediction. I think its just gonna take time for Munoz's methods and tactics to bed in...Ipswich are flying atm and have been primed for this championship season since last year so to compare both teams is unfair...It's still showing that the owls 🦉 came up via the play offs and were behind the eight ball from the start with recruitment and then with the manager change it didn't help with new methods, tactics etc being introduced on the eve of the start of the season...I think given time Weds are a work in progress this season and there will be an upturn in results in the long term...Today Ipswich showed they are looking towards promotion but Weds need to just consolidate this season and ensure their Championship status and then next season build on it...Great to see Finley again Lee m8 and what a positive attitude that lad has!!!...😍⚽️👏🏻 Great Vlog m8 as ever and you've certainly earnt getting your feet up tomorrow with your vlogging the last two days...C u on the 72 review Pal tomorrow night 🦉👍🏻👏🏻👊🏻😍

As an ipswich fan i know this feeling you think there's no hope keep your chins up like us it will get worse before it gets better. Remember you'll be there long after the owner and players are long gone. He needs to sell up what planet is he on dredging up old issues. Onwards and upwards mate

Kop yesterday was £39 with £1 bookings free & £51 on the main stands! Bottom of the league & still 26k fans which I thought was good! Chansiri is running us into the ground I’m afraid I will always respect the money he’s put in but momentum is Massive in football & for me he’s killed it plus a club lives & dies by recruitment I don’t understand why none have championship experience

I don’t know how we managed to score that goal! Plus it was a nervy watch in the end with all the chances you had to score from corners but a wins a win. We weren’t amazing but we didn’t have to be seeing as your offence was absent and your keeper was fantastic (Your MOTM in my view). As for you guys, it’s pretty sad to see such a downfall since that amazing comeback against Posh. Chansiri getting rid of Darren Moore was a shocking decision, he would have gotten a point out of this fixture at least and with DC running the club, it will be hard to move forward unlike us. I honestly can’t see you guys staying up with the way things are going on and off the pitch unless a complete miracle happens. Good luck with the rest of your tough season and I hope you guys can manage to stay up as you’re too big for league one!
