Maybe it is just me and the casual subscription box consumer doesn’t have the same issue but I really wish subscriptions would start expanding the brands they include in their boxes. Jenny VanderPas when I upgraded to the box, I thought it would be getting better but it wasn’t. Ipsy was good for when I was getting into makeup but since my makeup loves have changed and I’ve tried a lot. Ipsy plus wasn’t worth it, I was still getting cheap smaller products.
I'm just saying - the name Ripe Flesh sounds like a dead body that's been sitting in the sun on a 95 degree day... ew. I'm sure the product is great, but the name is a major misstep.
I was waiting on this! Mine hasn’t arrived but my friends did and everything was a repeat from her November and December bags. Really disappointing that they upped the price and didn’t seem to change or add any new products. Just the same things being cycled in.
Emily I’ve gotten the same color of nail polish for the last 3 months. I’m gonna give them one more chance probably 2 more lol before I put it on pause.
Chellie Ann I have received a highlighter every month the last six months and I have that marked on my profile as a “rarely!” I have high hopes every month but it’s starting to get old.
dramaminedream22 I review every product that I get. A girl a work with always get different things and we will bring our bags to work to compare and I always have duplicates and highlighters.

I agree--Ipsy keeps sending the same stuff from the same few brands, and they keep sending stuff that doesn't match the profile I saved (I have oily skin, they'd send stuff for dry skin...) I switched to BoxyCharm, and so far I like what I've gotten.

I completely agree with everything you've said. It's as if we know basically what to expect without seeing any spoilers. Like they're just stopped caring and with all the issues lately with items in these subscription boxes it truly makes you wonder.
Ipsy has not been terribly flashy in the last few months but I can use about 96% of what I get from Ipsy unlike what I get from some of the other subscription boxes.
yeah after 4 years of ipsy i’m finally cancelling next month... i even upgraded to ipsy plus for 2 months and was disappointed by both of them! it’ll be good to save money after this!
i agree! also i feel like they wayyyyy overcharge for the items in the bag to make it seem like you’re getting great value.... but like some of these i KNOW are worth like 3 bucks each
It is so good to see Steve again. He is so cute! I love the eye look. I agree that the subscription boxes have been saturated with Wander Beauty. I get Allure and Ipsy, but haven't received any Wander stuff. So weird💜💜💜

Every time I start watching one of your videos, my husband pipes up and says "is that Alexandria - is Steve with her?? " LOL I've dropped all my boxes except FabFitFun because you can customize most of it and I LOVE the add on sales!
You’re 100% right, it’s the same brands in all the boxes. I’ve only been subbed to beauty boxes since Sept/Oct, and this month while ppl were posting their unboxes, I was like... I’ve received that, and that and that before!
I got rid of Ipsy I was upset with the personalization that I didn’t feel they looked at. I didn’t like the fact there wasn’t like any name brands ever. That’s why I signed up.
Yes, I totally agree with you that subscription companies need to add a variety of brands to their boxes!!😬🙌🏻 I’ve been with BoxyCharm for 6+ years and I recently cancelled for the same reason and their customer service is a total joke.
