IQ - Forever Live Live at the Stadthalle in Kleve Germany: June 12 1993 - Pete Nicholls / vocals - Mike Holmes / guitars - Martin Orford / keyboards, backing vocals - John Jowitt / bass, backing vocals - Paul Cook / drums
Absolutely incredible band and one of the best songwriters in progressive rock. The music is - beautiful. Not bragging, never showing off, the playing always serves the quality of the song. That is the hard thing with the genre. IQ’s music is simply beautiful. I was fortunate to meet the band in Berlin in 2009. They were wonderful people and really liked each other’s company.
My Dad's favorite IQ song of all the ones I've shown him so far :) Like he rated it a strong 9/10 and he's pretty picky about what he really REALLY likes So that makes this song a bit more special for me too :)
Songs from Nomzamo and Are you sitting have always been intense moments of pleasure in IQ concerts, both for the audience and the band. Their smiles playing this song are impressive. This song owes a lot to Menel, he opened their sound, and it really fitted them beautifully. Pete Nicholls is okay. But to me his coming back really was an evolution in reverse for them. It's strange that IQ fans just hate something a band they love play with such enthusiasm.
