Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m truly honored to hear that you consider my video one of the best and most engaging on simulation you’ve ever seen. It’s immensely rewarding to know that my work resonates with viewers like you. Your support and engagement mean a lot to me, and it motivates me to continue creating content that you’ll enjoy. Thanks again for watching and for your encouraging feedback!
Looks like my mission to spread the joy of the 57-inch G9 is accomplished! Don't blame me, blame the irresistible allure of that curved beauty. Enjoy the immersive experience! 👌👍
Thanks mate 😁 I am always concentrated! No Idea how someone can talk next to racing like all the streamers 😂🤷🏻♂️ With the D-Box under my system it feels that real and is very exhausting racing so I have to focus all the time and I love it 🤩😁👌👍
Thank you for your comment, and yes, I am always quite focused, especially on the Nordschleife, as there is simply no room for error there. The Nordschleife is unforgiving, and I always wonder how streamers manage to multitask and chat at the same time, because I can't do that. I need to concentrate fully, or else it's off into the grass. Best regards.
Hello Mate, thank you for your kind comment. I'm truly delighted and feel greatly honored by it. Such comments really make me happy because they show me that you enjoy watching just as much as I enjoy driving. Indeed, I hope you have as much fun as I do. See you on the track. Bye
Hi Sean, no this one is from Rosso Simracing! The original Porsche Sim wheel is for collectors with enough money and is just a joke! Porsche is Porsche and they give a f.ck about us Simracers 🤷🏻♂️👎
Thanks a lot 😊 The Cup Car is pretty fun when you drive it with a lot of sensitivity 😉 I am not that experienced with the RSR but this one has much more downforce and you can be more aggressive. The Cup car needs more feeling but I am pretty sure you will handle it soon 😁👌👍
Can’t stop watching your vids because of this incredible 57” ultrawide. I hate the bezels on my 27” triples, also hate the Bezel Free kit, makes blurry sides and not smooth image if the monitors aren’t perfect for 0,00000001 mm. Need to save for this beauty. It’s around 2200 Euros at the moment.
Hi, thank you for your kind comment; I'm really glad to hear you can't stop watching my videos. I often watch them myself because I really like the camera position and the incredibly large display. It just looks almost real, and when I remember the race, I always have to grin. So start saving up because it definitely pays off. For me, it was the same. I had a 32-inch triple screen setup, with and without bezel, but it still always disrupted the immersion. And now, with no bezel at all and the windshield right in front of you, it's just amazing. Thank you and have fun watching my videos; see you on the track
thanks mate! starting with iRacing is always a good decision! Hope you enjoy it :) All the rest comes with time, started also with a Logitech G29 on PS4 😁👌👍
Hi mate, thanks a lot! Happy to hear that you like it 😁 The answer is quite simple, I just maxed out everything 😂 But for all the detail feel free to check out my page pgeppl.at where you can find all about my Simulator 👌👍 Hope I could answer your question ✌️I guess I have to update my setup page but the iRacing settings are still up to date!
This or 3 Samsung 43" Neo G7s? The price is very similar. Just curious as my only worry between the two is the vertical real estate for immersions sake
Hi! I’m incredibly pleased that my video has motivated you to start up your own simulator again and to take a few laps on Assetto. I wish you a lot of fun with it and hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy every lap. Because there’s nothing finer than driving the world’s best cars on the world’s best tracks in the comfort of your own living room, right? What’s your favorite car and track? Have fun and thanks for the sub, man. I really appreciate it.
@@pgeppl You deserve much more, the quality of your videos are very good, my favourite track is nordschleife/nurburgring and "car street" when it gets a nice setup its very fun to drive, honda s2000, "manual race car" e30 dtm/gr.a 92 and "modern race car" its the Audi R8 LMS Evo (GT7), im not a fan of audi r8 but this one drives so good. 👍
How do you like the Tilton pedals ? What’s your opinion about them ? Like you encountered any problems ? Does the brake feel hard or soft ? And how much travel has it ? How is the throttle feeling and travel and stifness?
Hi mate, don't know if I can answer your question proper. I switched from Heusinkveld Ultimate+ to Simtag Ashley and that was one of some brilliant decisions I made :) I love them!!! Only problem since month is a clonk sound when I hit the brake and I can't find the reason for that because everything is working perfect!!! And they feels absolut gorgeous :) Brake easy to change from soft to hard to concrete :) Travel adjustable, throttle feels superb and everything is stiff and as I said I am not sure to answer that. That pedal set is coming from real race cars and they use the Tilton 600er series. watch this, he explains the pedals in good detail! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Qq_eSkeGvzQ.htmlsi=vpoxJal6IkrZrllV
thanks a lot mate :) I used 3x32" for about 2 years but you cannot compare it with 57" ! Also when I used the Bezzel kit with my triple screen setup it was not that Immersive as with this 57" screen! When you sit in front of this screen in iRacing you forget that there is a monitor in front of you because it feels like a windshield instead! No Bezzel also no blurred Bezzel free looking. There is just this extra large windshield and that levels the Immersion to a level for that I have no words. You must try it if you have the chance somewhere! btw Tobii Eye Tracker 5 does NOT support iRacing :(
Nice! Subscribed. I just ordered the 57" G9 as well. I'm concerned about mounting it to my motion rig though... it looks like yours has no issue even with so much movement? You are not worried about damaging the monitor?
Wow, that sounds cool. Thanks for the sub mate 😁👌👍 No worries at all! I'm not concerned about the monitor handling my Motion Simulator. I've integrated it into my system to minimize movement, so it should pose no problem. If, for some reason, this pricey monitor can't endure, I'll simply order the next one. Plus, I've got a 5-year extended warranty in place, which should sort out any issues. The only inconvenience would be the wait for the next monitor to arrive. Just to clarify, this is already my second monitor, unrelated to motion - the first one, operated without motion, gave up after just 13 days. The new monitor has a ticking sound since day one, but I operate it as I see fit. I previously ran a system with three 32-inch monitors under full motion for two years without a hitch. This one should handle it just fine.
@@pgeppl do you run your Dbox with tuned down motion? What if when you are playing WRC? The monitor doesn’t sway around too much and risk damaging the stand or the monitor?
Hello Malvin, Thank you for your comment! I’m glad to hear from you. I always strive to do my best and I’m thrilled that it shows. Racing in this virtual world is incredibly fun and exhilarating. Regarding the steering wheel, it’s a limited edition from Rosso Sim Racing. Unfortunately, they are not producing anymore, so I’m unable to assist in finding a similar one. I truly wish I could be of more help in this matter. Looking forward to seeing you on the track. Best regards and happy racing!
Hey there! Thanks a lot! I truly enjoy my setup as well. The wheel I'm using in this video is a Limited Edition Porsche GT3 R wheel from Rosso Simracing, weighing in at 2360 grams. Surprisingly, its weight doesn't impact my Simucube 2 Ultimate Wheelbase much. I doubt if the real GT3 wheel is as heavy. My BMW M4 GT3 wheel from Fanatec, supposedly used in the actual GT3, is quite light. My newest addition, the Porsche Cup wheel, is as light as a feather, all crafted from Full Carbon. I'm not entirely sure about the Rosso wheel's construction, but I believe the body might be metal with just the shell being Carbon. Anyway, for me, the crucial aspect of a wheel is its dimensions - the size and width have to be spot on. I've had another Porsche wheel that was unfortunately too narrow, and every centimeter in width matters to me. Steering wheels under 300 millimeters don't work for me; that's why I'm not a Formula driver but rather a Porsche Cup or GT3 enthusiast. A bit of extra width is needed for those cars. Unfortunately, most manufacturers produce wheels with 300 millimeters or less. Regarding the weight of my entire setup, I can't provide an exact answer. It sits on four D-Box actuators - the only points touching the ground. Just like a car's tires, mine are the actuators. Everything you see on my RU-vid channel is mounted on my simulator and rests on these actuators. It might be around 150 kilos, but that's just a rough estimate. Anyway, have a blast on the racetrack, and see you there! 🏎️
@@pgeppl hi, I think I ask wrong question. What I want to ask is, how heavy force feedback of your set up? Yes I notice your steering wheel is the same as Porsche Cup Car steering wheel. Is it the one built by Porsche USA cost 10,000 USD? Oh you use Simucube Ultimate. I think it is the best wheelbase for now. I am thinking to get one too.
You have definitely gained a new subscriber! Although I don't like to be an adviser, I feel the need to do it. Although the clip is already 5 months old, you have definitely improved, but if you are still the way I saw you in the video, someone needs to say it so that you can push yourself further than where you are now . Twice you were overtaken by that guy. In both cases, either you braked too much, or you let off the accelerator. You need to have more confidence in yourself, because it is clear that you are doing the right thing! Let's not talk about the fact that when you saw that there was a yellow flag, the "predator" instincts were activated and you pushed the car to the limits, as it is clear that only you can, in your own way. The yellow flag seemed to make you wild, you received a syringe full of adrenaline and activated your nerves, and you pressed the accelerator with all your heart, and activated your racing driver senses to the maximum. I put these two things in this text because there is a balance, which if you analyze, and I hope you have gone over it already, you will go far in e-sports. Try to take out that predatory animal even when someone tries to overtake you. It is clear that your limit was not shown in this clip. At least for me, even though it's the first time I follow you, it's very clear to me, like moonlight, that your limit is much higher, and the bar deserves to be raised! Congratulations! Good luck breaking limits!
Hello and thank you for your kind and motivating comment; I really appreciate it. I'm at a loss for words because I don't even know how to respond to such kindness, but I've noticed over the past few months that I've become much calmer while driving. I don't get as upset as quickly when things happen, which I believe is a sign of progress. The most important thing for me is that I enjoy what I do, as SimRacing is like medicine for me. It's incredibly soothing after a hard day, or really anytime. Even though it's demanding and requires a lot of concentration, I find it relaxing because it's my absolute passion. I will continue to work on improving my driving style and skills, and aim to deliver exciting races for both myself and you. I hope you like the new videos. I always look forward to hearing from someone, especially when it’s such a nice, positive, and well-intended comment like yours. Thank you, I'm working on it. I'll try to give it my best. Thanks, and I’ll see you on the track.
i’m considering splitting my G9 neo 57 in half (ie using PIP and split the 57 inch display into two stand alone 32 inch monitor using two DP cables. AND, add a G8 neo 32 inch Mini-LED as the third screen. this in theory should give me more visibility when racing side by side.
Hi, and wow, that sounds like an amazing idea! Where are you planning to install the display? On the right, I assume? Hey, when you have completed it, it would be really cool if you could send me some feedback, maybe a photo or video? I’m really interested in seeing the difference between the panels, whether it’s distracting or if the colors stay consistent-you know what I mean. Looking forward to hearing from you and good luck with it, I believe it will be great!
@@pgeppl yes, on the right, it’s been a bit of an extreme idea but i keep closing the door on others in heated moments just because im can’t see my right mirror and the right hand side.
I fully understand that and it also happens to me but I configured a button to look left and right which is easy accessible on my steering wheel. Anyway it's different if you just see out of the right windows without pressing a button. I guess this will work fantastic mate!!! so curious on your feedback!!!
So you switched from triples 32" to the 57" G9. Basically you're missing now a 32" 🤔. Do you want to tell us more about the reasons? How has your FOV changed? How much screen estate are you missing? Thinking about switching from 38" 21:9 to a triple 32" or 57" and your feedback would help me/us a lot!. Thanks in advance!
Hi there, I will try to explain short ;) When the Bezzel Free kit was first released I already had my 3x32" system and bought the kit. But I was totally disappointed so I sold them. In the mean time there were so many people using Bezzel Free kit so I just thought I give them again a try, 3d printed some extensions, changed my monitor angle to make them fit perfect but anyway it looked blurry and shifted, for example you see on other videos from other people the integrated rear view monitor is shifted and NO, again disappointed. Suddenly I don't know the day but I follow Matt Malone and I love this guy because he is so funny and such a great racer he released a Video on RU-vid where he showed this 57" panel which he got for free from Samsung! I was fascinated and stoked and some other words which I don't know because I am from Austria and english is not my native language. I opened my Browser and looked where to get that piece of every Simracers dream. I was so lucky because in Europe there was only 1 store which had that panel on stock! MediaMarkt :) so funny! I bought it. After a few days it arrived and speechless! Damned that was another dimension! After 13 days of use without my motion system because I still had no Idea how to fix it, it stopped working. Sent it back, took over 3 weeks of waiting and VR Racing and got my money back because MediaMarkt removed it from their list. Shit, still not available in Europe. But I didn't want to switch to 3x48" because that was my plan B. and it would cost me more money and I would have to rebuild my simulator and my living room would be... days of decision but I didn't gave up looking for that monitor. Lucky again. A store in Austria had it on stock! 400€ cheaper, 5 year warranty extension + 2TB ext Samsung HD. Checked again. Delivered and happy again like a child :)
I continue here with the story ;) With this panel I use 7680x2160 ! with my 3x32" I used 7680x1440! I know some other SimRacers which bought the same after my videos and they all are totally happy with it! You will miss nothing! On the contrary you get so much Immersion that you forget this is a monitor mate, you think it's a windshield! The colors! 4k! wooohooo this panel is so crazy! Additional you never need NVidia Surround again. Never reconnect DP when using VR. It's now permanent connected and when I want to switch from VR to Monitor or back I don't even have to leave my seat :) for the FoV comparison feel free to watch my comparison videos on my channel there you see what you get with a FoV from 123 with an eye to screen distance from about 60cm! ACC I don't race and to be honest I don't like so I don't even have it installed, sorry for that. I hope I could answer your questions and make your decision more easy then before :) If you still have questions, contact me.@@isurvivedturnone
Absolutely nothing. I miss absolutely nothing. Quite the opposite. I gain 100% immersion because there are no bezels here. Even when using the Bezel-free Kit, just subtly hiding the bezels through a bit of blur… Bezels? No. You really don’t miss a thing. You simply achieve total immersion, feeling like you’re in the actual car with a windshield instead of a monitor. 100% convinced. This monitor, a dream. In my opinion, there’s currently nothing better for racing, regardless of the triple system you use, even with 55-inch triples, those darn bezels always bring you back to reality. But with this monitor, you’re fully in the car, forgetting everything around you. The Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 57-inch. A highlight. Highly recommended.
I bought a G9 earlier on this year but having seen this I can see a change out coming 😅😅 What’s this screen like with ACC? I wish the other sims could figure out a solution for ultrawide screens like iRacing has or someone come up with some software that sorts it all out.
Hi, sorry but I can't tell or show you anything about ACC because I don't use ACC and so it is not installed anymore since a long time. I only do iRacing, Dirt2.0 and now also WRC. For fun stuff I love to use AC with ContentManager but no ACC at all. I know the problematic with triples or ultrawide screen with the most simulations. iRacing did here a brilliant job and I never experienced any Issue with iRacing. They just get better and better 👌👍
Hey SimRacing mate! Thanks a lot 😁👍 Guess what? I've got the ultimate SimRacing sanctuary for you at pgeppl.at! Crafted it just for folks like us who love diving into the nitty-gritty. Let's make this whole sim thing a breeze. Cheers and catch you burning rubber on the track! 🏎️💨
Thanks 😊 I love it too 🙃 When you start by 0 you have to invest about 30k€ for all what you see here except my Steering Wheels! You can get all the information about my Simulator here pgeppl.at See you on the track 😁🤜🤛
Hi Tom, thanks for that good question! For sure you need to do something because a Vesa 100 mount for this panel is just a bad Joke from @Samsung 😂🤦🏻♂️ Maybe I do a Short this weekend! It's just a support below each side and behind to prevent moving. On the top I have also profiles in my simulator so the panel is totally clamped smoothly without pressure and that stops shaking totally and works like a charm 👌
Hi Kel S., nice to meet you! Did we race together? Porsche Cup + Nordschleife is always a pleasure 🫶 I love it ☺️ This week Imola, did some practice laps today and this will be awesome too 👌 see you on the track mate 👍🤜🤛
Thank you for your question. I can answer that with a ‘Yes’, and I’ll explain why. Why do I think a 57-inch screen is better than any triple monitor setup? The key reason is the absence of bezels. When using the ASUS bezel-free kit, there are still visible bezels or blurred bezel effect. I experienced this first-hand with my 3x32 inch monitors. So, this is my argument for why a 57-inch is superior to a triple monitor system. Why do I prefer the 57-inch more? I must add, the complete lack of bezels creates an illusion after a few minutes where you forget you’re looking at a screen. The ultra-wide display, slightly broader than a windshield, makes you feel like you’re actually sitting in a car, looking through the windshield, not at a monitor. This experience is something no triple system can offer, even with a bezel-free kit. Believe me, I’ve tried. Is it better than VR? My answer is yes and no, for two reasons. It’s superior to VR because I can use the monitor for longer durations without any discomfort to my eyes. It’s simply more pleasant. However, the immersion in VR is in a league of its own and incomparable. You can’t compare VR with a triple system, either. VR, like the Varjo Aero I use, is like reality. You’re in the car, looking down at your feet, out the windows, and around the interior. You have a sense of depth you don’t get with a monitor. But personally, I can’t use VR for more than an hour without my eyes starting to burn. Another reason I always drive with the 57-inch, especially for my videos, is that it offers more action for viewers compared to VR. With VR, I can only use OpenXR Tunnel into OBS Studio, showing a view from one eye, which is not ideal for the audience. Also, the head movements make the footage unstable for viewers. Hence, I make all my videos on the screen. I often drive in VR, especially for training sessions, as it helps me better understand braking points and more. With both the 57-inch and VR, I don’t need to switch between HDMI and Display Ports. I can stay in the cockpit and switch the VR headset on and off, eliminating the need for NVidia Surround. The 57-inch is simply the perfect solution for me. I hope this adequately answers your question.
Thanks mate :) appreciate that and doing my best! The Porsche wheel is from Rosso Simracing and was a limited Edition. I would love to use the real Porsche Cup Wheel but Porsche is absolut crazy and has no interest in SimRacing at all! They sell their Wheel as Limited Edition for 7911€ here in Austria and that is absolut cheek! I wrote them that I would like more info about their wheel but never got an answer. So they can keep it and sell them for all the collectors.
@@pgeppl did you have a G9 49 before? If so what was the difference in FOV from G9 49 to G9 57. Thank you! Would you mind sharing how far your eyes are from display in this configuration? And maybe a video of your iracing camera settings. I like your FOV.
Hey there! Thanks a bunch! 😊 Wow, the Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 57” is like a visual feast - with a FoV of 123 at a 60cm eye-to-monitor distance, it’s like having a front-row seat to the gaming universe! Cheers to epic battles and stunning views! 🚀🎮
Unfortunately, I’m unable to provide comments or feedback on this matter, as I have absolutely no experience with a blind driving assistant system, nor have I ever tried Forza Motorsport. Frankly, it’s hard for me to envision how this could effectively work. Specifically concerning iRacing, where often reaction times are a matter of milliseconds, I’m uncertain how one could react quickly enough with a visual impairment. I sincerely apologize for not being able to offer more insight on this. Wishing you all the best.
So what Forza has done is a system of different audio cues. For example, there are audio cues for the limits of the track, there are rally style call-outs for turns, as well as audio cues for the entry, apex, and exit of turns, a steering guide that pans the sound of the engine and tires to indicate the optimal driving line, etc. It works a lot better than you might expect.
Hallo Oliver, danke für deinen Kommentar. Ich frage mich gerade, was du damit meinst, warum hast du so viel Scheiße gebaut? Alles gut 👍
