@@Sambo_iRacing hi, not well. Middle of the race fanatec wheel got disconnected, lost 89Irating 😡. I only started a month ago so it was very painful. Regarding breaking bias, not locking up as much but somehow I can’t get past 1.38.100, where that 0.6 gone?

I was looking for a good video on Okayama for a 1:36 run, I cant seem to break 1:37s and i run 1:38s super consistent on races while negotiating traffic and vaping. The thing about 1:38s is we can do them all day. But the elusive 1:36.. What a feat! Absolutely Rapid. Your inputs and trailbreaking are as smooth as I've seen. You have GREAT looking driving style. I like breaking later and harder, I find myself a bit deeper in my turns catching a further apex in first for a harder run off.. But clearly that method isn't as fast. At least not here..

Should i use clutch? because my upshifts are very weird and i notice on garage 61 that i am losing a massive chunk of time on the straights for some reason

Yeah the easiest way is to assign a button clutch on the Vee.

Sorry but YT isn't letting me respond in the original thread; thank you for explaining the bias. Does that apply to all cars or is it RWD only? What if the car is FWD or AWD? It sounds like with the RWD, heavier bias on the rear has a risk of locking out the rear; but would that apply for the other drive-types? Thank you!!!!

i still cant break a 1.40...and im being consistent...like 141.5s i feel maxed out everywhere...i must suck😔

You just gotta keep practicing and getting used to the car. Get a comfortable braking zone, do it 20 times, then try shortening it a little! Don’t give up man! Also, some people are just better or worse at certain courses, don’t worry if you can’t hit the optimal lap every time

The lower the number, the more the rear tyres brake, the higher the number, the more the bias is on the front wheels. A higher number (like the one that iRacing defaults to), the safer the car is under braking as you approach a corner. A lower number gives you more braking power but at the risk of losing the rear.
