Hi Krizz, another nice reaction! "Ovunque Sarai" means wherever you are. This song is about the loss of a loved one, in particular I believe this is dedicated to Irama's grandmother who passed away - and the emotion really comes across even if you don't understand the language. FYI, the below link has a good English translation for this song. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kYMzLrkgOfU.html
this was for his grandmother who died some time before, and he woke up one morning at dawn and thinking about his grandmother, which in my humble opinion was one of the most beautiful songs ever
this was dedicated to his grandmother who passed away, and the song is also dedicated to ones who passed away. the italian language is meant to be sung and im a spaniard who followed the italian songs for a long time.
The video is a mix of the 3 nights at Sanremo Festival in which Irama performed his song. I'm 59, I lost my mother to cancer when I was 8 and she was 34 and it's had a big impact on my life and there wasn't a day I didn't think of her or I didn't miss her and so many times I had the feeling she was with me. It may sound pathetic or crazy to those who haven't lost a person who was so important in their life but so often I had the feeling things around me were "signs" of my mother's presence and I am not referring to esotherism or anything to do with "ghost whispering! but simply of how a loved one even when passed away will always stay with you whose lofe for and memory will be forever kept in hour heart and soul and everyday of your life around you things of nature or happening will revive that flame inside. I know Irama's is not a cheesy song and he's true to his feelings and emotions and I am grateful he was so clever in putting into words so well something I have experienced and I am sure so many others did as well.
