I hate to admit it but Iran is making more sense than the US right now. Unfortunately for the Palestinians there is no one or two state solution at this time. Israel will not allow a one state solution because they want a Jewish state. They can't have more Palestinians than Jews and have a Jewish state. A two state solution has been talked about for many many years yet nothing has been done about. I live in the US and my family moved to the US from Britain in the 1600's, so I am not a recent immigrant or anything and I say that what Israel and my country are doing is wrong. Shame on them for what they are doing.

What ridiculous questions at time were put, but Mr Kamal Kharazi were very eloquent in his answer, presenter always like scenarios instead of the now, respect to Mr Kamal Kharazi’s calm and honest approach “no honey bee” tactics

Thank you for this discussion. Mr Kamal Kharazi Iran's former foreign minister was really clear and concise and I agree with his suggestion of the, one State solution. I've read that many people in the Middle East think people in the West are disinterested in the Middle East countries and their cultures. The access to the internet has allowed people everywhere to do their own research and form their own opinions. I live in the southern most part of Australia on the island called Tasmania. We have here what Mr Kharazi thinks will work for Palestine and Israel. We have people of many cultures and religions livingl peacefully together. We have get-togethers to share food and learn about each other and each other's culture. We respect individual differences. However we have a high degree of goodwill and trust so a lot of building is needed in the future of the one State solution

What an eye-opening and informative interview with Mr Kamal Kharazi Iran's former foreign minister he was unequivocal and concise, measured and calm in his responses - what a refreshing change. Like Turkey, Iran has a pragmatic approach to the whole Israeli/Palestine/Gaza situation. I agree that the Two-State Solution is unobtainable Israel has demonstrated they will not allow it. The only viable option is a one-state solution - Multi-cultural, multi-ethnic and multi-religious people can live together it just takes all sides to accept that others have an equal right to exist. I live in the UK and (regardless of what Tories say) our multicultural society works.

But in fact nations like Iran, Syria, Russia, China have no interest in conflict. Listening to Mr Karmal Kharazi is a breath of openness in comparison. I respect such people and nations. Completely agree, unfortunately I don’t see Israel ever agreeing to either solution without external force. I think that a 1 state solution would be painful but best for all involved eventually. A normal country with equal rights for its citizens.

I feel as if the whole world wants Iran to get into this conflict. I’m struggling to understand why is that? The kind of questions that she asked were to push him to make some inflammatory statements but he remained balanced.

They should be advocating a solution instead of talking about escalation. It is clear that it would be bad for the whole region if this is to escalate.

Why shouildn't Iran give weapons to Palestinians? US and EU are supporting Israel.

You know i did not care about Palestinians but i begin to care now because i hate to see people taking advantage of poor people driving them from there land because they want that land. May Palestine be free for the Palestinians.

I only just understood that the two-state solution was aimed at dividing the Palestinians. But what a horror!!

Almost an impossible solution where both sides think of the other as intending to eliminate them. Need trust for this to work and currently or in the foreseeable future that does not seem likely.
