Shiraz is one of the cities of Iran that has its own special day in the country's calendar and special programs are held in this city every year on the occasion of 15 Ardibehesht.
The city of Shiraz has a very long history; In fact, in the Elamite clay tablets belonging to 2,000 years BC, which were obtained from the southwest of this city, a city called "Tirazis" is mentioned, which changed to Shiraz over time. In addition, an Elamite clay was found in 1314 in Takht Jamshid, which mentioned a castle called "Tirazis" or "Shirazis". Interestingly, the name Shiraz appeared in the beads discovered from the enclosure of Abu Nasr Palace next to the Shiraz plain and belonged to the late Sassanid and early Islamic periods
Hafiziya or Hafez Tomb (opened: 856 AH - 1452 AD) is the burial place of Hafez Shirazi in Shiraz. This building was designed and renovated by the order of Reza Shah to Ali Asghar Hekmat, the Minister of Education at the time, and based on a plan by Andre Godar. It was conducted by Ali Riazi, the head of the Fars Education Department, and his supervisor was Ali Sami.

The implementation of this project was entrusted to Ali Riazi, the head of the Fars Education Department, and Ali Sami took charge of it. In this design, in the same style as the previous design, Hafiziya was divided into two parts, north and south, and a porch 56 meters long and 7 meters wide, with 20 stone columns 5 meters high, separates the two gardens from each other. The complete implementation of this project took a long time until 1317 AH.
