IRAN 🇮🇷 Night walk in Vali Asr & Beheshti Street 🚶🏻♂️
Vali Asr Street is the longest (tree-lined) street in Tehran and the Middle East with a length of 18 kilometers. It is also one of the ten longest streets in the world, which starts from Railway Square in the south of Tehran and reaches Tajrish Square in the Shemiran area in the north of Tehran.
Its original name was "Special Pahlavi Road" and it was also called "Pahlavi Street" before the 1357 revolution. After the victory of the Islamic Revolution, this street was renamed "Mossadegh Street", but after about two and a half years passed, this street was officially renamed "Vali Asr Street".
Shahid Seyed Mohammad Beheshti Street, also known as Abbas Abad Street, is one of the central streets of Tehran, located in the Abbas Abad neighborhood. This street, which has an east-west direction, leads from the west to Valiasr Street and from the east to Shariati Street. Beheshti Street is one-way to the west. This street is named in honor of Seyyed Mohammad Beheshti, an Iranian politician and jurist. This street is accessible through Shahid Beheshti, Sohrvardi, and Mirzai Shirazi metro stations, and the above metro stations are located from the east of the street to its west.
