I can easily say iran is the only country in the world that's free and independent, any other country weather in Africa, Asia, Europe and America continent is indirectly enslaved by America
Every Iranian I have ever met or worked with have been gracious, friendly and caring people. It’s so sad that an entire population of people is vilified by politics, economics, and ideologies. I have read that tourists, including American tourists, say that Iranians are extremely welcoming and gracious hosts. It’s important to remember that world politics do not always represent a majority of “regular” people, just trying to live their lives as best they can. And that applies to Americans and the U.S. too. 🙁😞
Iran and its people turned their backs on democracy and freedom in favour of totalitarianism and communism with the devil as God, why should the west be open to such a hostile state. And Islam degrades women its unthinkable.
@Goran Todorovic Jesus Christ, I'm chanting pro Western liberty and democracy. Allah is the Devil pretending to be God, and I will not stop spreading the word at my own accord in my Honda Accord.
@@toddyoung569 Iran is not a powderkeg, when have we gone to war like Usa does on a regular basis. What do we have to gain?.... We are not the one boycotting you, tearing up agreements, and killing leaders using lies as proof. oh well.
I lived in a very rural, isolationist part of the US when the hostages were taken, and almost no one that I knew had any sympathy for the hostages. Everyone said, “What were they doing over there, anyway? Everyone knows that the whole world hates America!”. Interestingly, when 9/11 happened, none of my neighbors cared. They said stuff like, “That’s what we get for interfering in the Middle East!”. When I see people on TV who think that the USA is this poor, put-upon victim, I always wonder, “Where do they find these deluded folks?”.
Those hostages were actually American Spies, and they were treated with the typical Iranian hospitality.Imagine if Iranian spies were held as hostages in USA.Uncle Sam would've beaten them to pulp at Guantanamo Bay!
USA overthrew the democratically elected president for British oil interests. When the Shah of Iran, became defiant to them they overthrew him as well.
Really???? there is an convention that protect foreign diplomats in foreign lands..may be Ayatollahs couldn t read? Hospitality is something that US government is offering to Iranian officials in UN /New York by just allowing them to be there..
The iranian 1979 revolution has a 500 year build up before it. Since the days of British raj. The core mission of the iranian revolution was to kick these foreign colonisers out of the region. And they have all the rights to do that. But the more the world has stood against this goal of independence and freedom, the more powerful the aggressive and conservative parties became in Iran.
Muslim world didn't understand than and even today Muslim world has little knowledge what the western ,Europeans, Jews and Russia are doing for the Islamic countries downfall working together these countries are hard at work, after the fall of Shah , plans were going the other way , winds started blowing differently , and all western dreams of bringing shah down went wrong, Bcoz Khomeini had other plans completely but it was too late for the whites, so Russians had to invade Afghanistan so as to minimize Iran's Islamic drive to a halt, and also Saddam acted irrational and danced to us tunes in haste, that was a blow to Khomeini and things started to slow down, much in favor of westerners and very much against Islam, and till today Islamic world is in one way or another still dancing to western tunes. ..

As a New Zealander who’s country traditionally aligns with USA, I can honestly say that I will refuse to defend my country or take part in any agreement our country takes against Iran. Iran is a hospitable, kind and beautiful land where i enjoyed beautiful food, culture and scenery. So many people don’t know enough about iran, or are fed the bullshit that Bush and Trump spout. Religion aside. Iran is safe, there is no war, please put Iran on your travel list, please educate the world on the beauty and diversity of this country. Salaam, long live Ayatollah Imam Khomeini.
+Matt M The Islamic Republic of Iran sponsors militant groups that your country lists as terrorist organizations, namely the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades and Palestinian Islamic Jihad, so I would recommend retracting some of your admiration for this country. Until the terror funding ceases, this country should remain sanctioned and off everyone's travel list. As for presidents Ahmadinejad and Rouhani, they are virtually next to irrelevant. The media, the armed forces, religion and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps are all under control of the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei -not the government or the private sector. Whatever semblance of democracy there is in Iran, it is a total farce, as the Supreme Leader is not answerable to the nation's electorate.
Matt M You are a disgrace to your country. You would refuse to help people gain the same rights that you so shamelessly enjoy? Iranians are enslaved by an oppressive, murderous theocracy. Find a tall building...
Jimmy Kidd I’m a human rights lawyer so go figure 😂😂. Dude you THINK you know how Iran operates, you consume the bullshit from the west, you have no idea. Your thoughts are what you want it to be, not how it really is. Your argument is moot.
Matt M Human rights lawyer 🤣 And I'm a astrophysicist/olympian... Get yourself a new lie ya schmuck! I've meet plenty of Iranians, dated a few, and studied the country quite a bit. Their own constitution blithely admits to being a theocracy, genius. Women are second-class citizens, gays are EXECUTED, and free expression is heavily restricted.
long live the Islamic Republic of Iran , one of the very few countries able to resist the USA and Israeli world domination , a fine example for others who value their freedom from colonial occupation and exploitation .
Most dictatorship countries are strong until it collapse. Look at north korea, iran is just little boy but they all have common things: poor and brainwashed
@@rocdaneweracap , you "studied it" but i lived with then for 23 years. I am surprised ppl can vote in Iran. No matter what happens in this country, good or bad, it is the choice of their ppl. Other countries should stay out of their affairs.
@@yamomma5458 There is no sjcb Islamic republic of Iran!!! Just using the name of islam!scumbags Khomeini Dajal and khamenee useless they brought by west!
The revolution was the worst thing that could've happened to Iran, this video is so biased. Let's just totally gloss over humans rights violations, women punished for not wearing hijab, sure, fine. I was surprised though by the trans thing, huh, that's so odd.
its an old documentary from 2009 and before the economic crisis in the western world and the 2011 events that brought ISIS in the middle east...We like a newer one ,pls!! ANYWAY ,THANK YOU P.S - IRAN surprised me a lot ,in a positive way!
So I suppose you see positive that women have no rights and have to wear the mandatory abaya, even very small girls. People that talk like you do should go and leave there but please do not forget to bring also your family
@@TheRay7176 They do not call it an abaya in Iran. While you're right that there's mandatory 'headwear' for women in Iran, they basically are 'only' required by law to wear the headscarf. (hijab) What I think you call an abaya is in fact called the chador in Iran. That one is not mandatory in Iran. It's more seen as a plus by some if you do.
Iran was victim of unprovoked war however ... before that they place themselves outside of the rules .... Technically as I understand it they invaded the United States when they captured the embassy... If you publicly ignore the rules you can't be taken too seriously when you complain others aren't following them.
This is what happens when people are blinded by religion which allows devious religious preachers (Imams) to run a country instead of preforming religious duties.
V Shamsi - The sickening news is that in Pakistan even the Prime Minister and President call for Jihad (a religious tenet) against India to resolve a political issue. Such people are worse than Imams.
Also Pakistan has not imposed any curfew or committed any human right violations in Kashmir. Pakistan has not breached any international law or illegally changed the status of an internationally recognized disputed territory. Pakistan has not used pallet guns to bling innocent people in Kashmir. Indian ruling party BJP and its elected leaders are calling for rape of Kashmiri women.
93 children,70+ women and total of 293 innocent civilians were brutally murdered by Great Satan over Persian Gulf,Who were traveling on an aircraft. They even gave Medals to that Murderer. I can just go on with these acts of TERRORISM committed by West.......for days....
In the 70’s the Shah was no longer the american client. It is well documented. In fact there were tensions with the US which eventually increased with Carter’s administration. That’s why the Shah was not really supported by the Americans in 78-79.
Hostage crisis deepened the anti-US nature of the revolution. It made it hard for west to work with Islamic Republic of Iran. It is definitely a big event in the history of Iran-US relationship.
Seems like Iran is paying the price for not taking orders from outsiders. And not working on agendas of modern day colonials. Iran is a country which is running on its own policies not any international or regional policies. Wish u peace and prosperity and lots of love from 🇵🇰
Iran is a beautiful state, but the Islamic regime has put the country in a very bad situation But the people of Iran have made a wrong move, long live secularism. 🙏🏻🙏🏻
I wouldn't call this a '''''''victory of Iran, over America'''' the embassy being in Iran, it was easy taking for the students, the staff was obviously outnumbered, America should be commended for not retaliating saving many lives, embassies are the property of the named countries and should not be breached the implied sovereignty should be respected
Even Shah was not democratic at that time but there was freedom of cultural , religions and free liberal women and at least was better than dectator Khomeini 1000% l
Evetyone underestimated Iran those days, revolution, war,and nearly civil war, but if you look at the history of Iran one can see that it is a strong country and mentality, it is the only one in this area never been colonized and this has a reason.
To keep it as simple as possible so that you guys could understand, If we had actual pictures of the prophet we would have it all over the place,BUT we dont, and we dont assume anything Got it?
Khemeini and his fellows accused shah regime , but what about their exections of thousands opposites of religious and Mullahs ! Exections in 80 81 88 98... and even in revolution2009 against theocratic regime !?
Firstly: Those 12 year-old kids weren't pulled out of schools to go into the front line in 1980s. They joined "Basij E Mardomi" (Army Made of Voluntarily People) to fight for their nation "Iran". Believe it or not, teenagers under the age of 18 weren't allowed to join this army but these kids made changes in their identity cards to introduce themselves older than what they really were! Secondly: Why do you make changes in people quotes?! Someone in the second ten-minutes of the Documentary was talking about Saddam launching missiles into the Persian Gulf and as the guy said the word "Persian Gulf" you just translated it "in the gulf"! C'mon you should be a neutral media... I mean being neutral under what the international community tells you in this case! But altogether, I can say it was a comprehensive documentary as it showed all aspects and sides of every single story by interviewing those who agreed and disagreed them.
it was called the Persian Gulf in western countrys when the Shah was no.1 ally of the west, now i hear only the Arab gulf when watching TV news. you know how western media worked ;)

@@Sturminfantrist Bullshit... You're either an arab or an american who is anti-Iran. All the countries in west and east call it "The Persian Gulf". If by "western media" you mean Al-Jazeera, I have to tell you that Al-Jazeera is not a North American nor a European media! It's a Qatari one. And because of their political situations with UAE and Saudi Arabia, they respect Iran much more in these recent years. Recently (from 2017) when Trump administration came to power a few media like Guardian and Independent started to refer it to "The Gulf". They do not dare to call it anything else because of the International Hydrographic Organization rules. Secondly there is another body of water called the arabian Sea! So using arabian for any other geographic territorial is impossible. Thirdly as it seems, you know the Shah; I refer you to one of his interviews: What children are being taught at school is important not what some pan-arabs started to say since 1960s! This is an act of racism. You'd better know that.
@@thelastmanstanding7333 So? I don't need to have been there during that time to know what conditions were like. And underage youth were definitely forcibly conscripted into the army....given plastic keys to open the doors of paradise, to clear the minefields and be martyred. There were eyewitnesses present in Iran at the time who can confirm this. And yup, kids as young as eleven or twelve, perhaps even younger.

They freed them because of Regan. That’s why our people was freed. Regan said he was going into Iran. And Iran government didn’t want that. Carter should’ve done his job. No I hate see bloodshed. But it shouldn’t took so long. And I got nothing against Iranian innocent people. But truth is. They freed them. Because regan was sending the troops.
fake news. Regan gave Iran parts for F4 fighter jets in exchange for the prisoners. Late September 1980: An expatriate Iranian arms dealer named Hushang Lavi claims he met with Richard V. Allen, the Reagan campaign's national security expert, Robert "Bud" McFarlane, and Lawrence Silberman, co-chairman of Ronald Reagan's foreign policy advisors during the campaign, and discussed the possible exchange of F-4 parts for American hostages, but Lavi says they asserted they "were already in touch with the Iranians themselves". October 15-20: Meetings are held in Paris between emissaries of the Reagan/Bush campaign, with Casey as "key participant", and "high-level Iranian and Israeli representatives".[25] October 21: Iran, for reasons not explained, abruptly shifts its position in secret negotiations with the Carter administration and disclaims "further interest in receiving military equipment".[26] October 21-23: Israel secretly ships F-4 fighter-aircraft tires to Iran, in violation of the U.S. arms embargo,[26] and Iran disperses the hostages to different locations.[27] January 20, 1981: Hostages are formally released into United States custody after spending 444 days in captivity. The release takes place just minutes after Ronald Reagan is sworn in as president. Wasnt the only time either. There was the Iran - Contra scandal, where Regan sold weapons to Iran and was using the money to fund Contra paramilitaries who massacring civilians in Nicaragua
Khomeini and the other imams... so dark characters. They are remnants from the darkest past and ruined the life of a whole nation. We, people of Europe, already got rid of medieval, but when do you do similar, people of Middle East?
