If you'd ask me,I'd say these priviledge kids need to ask that Oxford refund their money and then take it to hire GG to give them lessons on history and political science.
What nobody is mentioning is our media, marketing, education, govt & etc manipulating narratives! Students & everyone need to read up on bread & circuses!
Reza Qashqai Kananian yea, future leaders, their ignorance is scary. That brat was trying to make it personal and got served a hot plate of FACTS from the diamond mind that is George Galloway.
Ex ARAB God Bless America another angry troll, trying to look smart. George wiped the floor up with that precocious streak of snot and put him to bed with facts. Nobody can out do George, because he is honest and altruistic. He’s certainly changed my mind on brexit and he would be the ideal person to negotiate after watching him single handedly put the USA senate to shame after the illegal war in Iraq.
@@wordscontrolminds it's good to be smart as opposed to trying to look smart. This guy is a kid who should be absorbing information like a sponge and over time ruminating over it before engaging his mouth. He looked very silly. George on the other hand is painfully honest and has physical facts to back his line of thinking.
Respect for George Galloway, the funniest part is the most iranians agree with George Galloway here but the most not iranians are against him. as a iranian let me make this clear, WE DO NOT WANT ANY SUPPORT OF THE WEST. we dont want do end like: afganistan, iraq, syria, Libya and so on.
+Best EDM Bengers Funny thing is that you are lying. George is a great man and I agree with him on almost every issue. But on Iran, he's NOT honest. As "an" Iranian too, let me agree with you on the fact that we don't like to end up like Afghanistan or Iraq. But in the same time, we don't oppose or "hate" west as Iranian officials say, or as suggested by you. And we, the Iranian people, do not agree with George on his words on Iran. Because Ahmadinejad elected for the first time as president in 2005 in a low turn out election with some claims of fraud, but in 2009, it was a total fraud election which ended up killing dozens of protesters and imprisonment of thousands. So my friend! Stop the BS! You are not the only Iranian here!
Where do you get your statistics dude? Ahmadinejad is a joke and he was selected by the so called spiritual leader, Khamenei. In Iran, the president doesn't mean a shit, and all those so called "elections" are farce, you know why? Because the real power is in the hands of the Vali Faghih (Spiritual leader) who's been in power since 1988. George Galloway is a piece of shit, puppet of the Islamic republic, and that is the reason he works and serves on Press TV, the mouthpiece of the terrorist ayatollahs. The enemy of my enemy is my friend, and vice versa, and the Iranian people will never forget the people who helped the dictators of Iran. Never forgive.
Some of them they were there. Robin Cook, Tony Benn, Dr Kelly, Julian Assange, Ghandi, The Kennedys, M L King, Malcolm X, Bernadette Devlin, ... Somehow quiet a few of them were silenced too early on.
@@adnanasghar7595 a college on average consists of 2 to 3000 students, any student has the right to question anything however impractical it is, but george galloway is a renowned politician these students were cherry picked to represent that situation, so no there has to be some standards.
@@adnanasghar7595 those questions were politically motivated to defend zionism. Also he did gave an excellent answer to it. And by no way I support iran, I just am against zionism as well as any inhumane atrocious states.
I love ❤ the ending, *bombs will not discriminate between men and women, secular and muslim, gay and straight… bombs will fall on all Iranians.* Pure words of wisdom.
Myself I am left wing and I put it to a left wing guy on another forum who supported bombing Syria for "Humanitarian reasons" (seriously) that he would have blood on his hands but I wouldn't he got furious with me. Like absolutely raging.
Galloway is just super clever. If he makes members of parliament, the US senate and several political commentators look like morons, what chance does a university student have?
As a Shia Iranian, I want to point out that no citizen in Iran should be discriminated against, regardless of their opinion, religion, etc. I am not a supporter of discrimination, neither are my ordinary countrymen!
That kid was really rude . Why do u blame Galloway with such hatred , maybe that kid expected him to solve all Iran's problems in that interview. I'm sure these student are high on something or low in IQ.
What's silly is how Westerners look at Muslim women with pity for wearing hijab, and simultaneously Muslim women look at Western women with pity for showing off their bodies and lacking self-respect.
the funny thing is people in Europe used to have hijab in the 1700s or so in a different fashion but still covering themselves with long dresses and hats !!
Got in by $donation, of course, like so many ignorant ones before him and more after him I am sure. The same ugly admission substandard also exists on the other side of the pond, especially in the Ivy Leagues.
Pay for play, google American college admission scandal, the joke is that it’s standard operating procedure for the west, and has been for generations...
Are all these Oxford kiddies in opposition to Galloway reading from the same script? No matter, he slowly, deliberately and factually demolishes them one by one. Well done George as always.
Unfortunately most of the kids who belong to a rich family don't have to work hard like us to get into these universities. Their parents simply buy their way in by paying for a position. Thats why half of these kids can't put up an argument with george because of their lack of knowledge
And I thought Oxford was a University that encouraged real debate and endeavoured to develop reasoned Intellect. The way that twerp framed his question and made what can only be described as dogmatic unsupported statements tends to reflect otherwise. Could he debate the other way. That is the real test of Intellect. I very much doubt it.
This is the perfect example of "a little knowledge is a dangerous thing". Theat student was rude, self opinionated, and possessed VERY little knowledge, except a slight sign of indoctrination.
People are complaining about the students question but it gave Galloway the chance to respond perfectly. This is exactly what we need today; robust questioning and equally robust reply. We got to hear Galloway's response in full without interjection and everyone in attendance, and on here, learned from it.
The student was arrogant and insulting. He even stated that he would not even listen to any answer, that is no way to ask a question. robust questioning is fine, but insulting and then saying you won't heed or are sure that any answer will be useless? That has no place in civilized debate. No problem with the question, just that the student himself asked it in an arrogant and insulting manner - it just highlighted how ignorant he really was.
If I would have been given the honor of being able to ask him a question that day, I would have asked him why he came to this kindergarten instead of Oxford university...
I have seen the full version of this and the point when this film ends cuts out the monumental wave of applause and standing elation Mr Galloway receives
Oh my god these students aren’t educated there INDOCTRINATED. This is disturbing, I mean is Britain’s education system literally like North Korea or something because I find how conditioned they are extremely worrying.
All due respect to Galloway, but he did not answer the man's question. He was not "blaming Galloway for things the Iranian regime did" he specifically asked if he had no moral qualms about interviewing the president of Iran and NOT bringing up the situation of women/minorities in Iran. That's a fair question. If his morals are so secure that he will refuse to debate anyone from Israel, surely it's a simple matter to refuse to interview the head of state of a tyrannical theocratic government? You can be opposed to British/US intervention while also refusing to normalize a theocratic regime.
As an Iranian, I have huge respect for this brilliant man. He was right abd history was on his side, just the opposite of what the rude student just said in regard to Afghanitan and Syria. Sad to see these kinds of children who try to look smart by asking some surface question without any experience or knowledge about the middle-east or politics.
Fantastic speech made by George. He is such a gem for the British people - an upright talented politician with a true humanity workd view and able to see through the hypocrisy of the western powers.
I have Baha'i clients from Iran. They have family members in Iran which they visit on a yearly basis. They are not afraid of visiting Iran. Misinformation is rampant in our major news media in the West.
I have so much respect for Galloway! No matter how unpopular his opinions might be, he always sticks to his principles. The person didn't even ask a proper question - if he wants war with Iran, let him go and fight it. Pathetic.
The students who are asking questions should not be insulted. They are expressing the deep seated thoughts of the many who are obsessed with these thoughts. If they kept silence, the others would have never found an answer or response. When we consider ourselves to be the better judge, there's no point listening to debates, we will always win! If George's answer reflects our own beliefs then it doesn't make the questioner stupid. They are raising valid questions.
there is No politician in the Anglophone world to compare with this man. George Galloway you deserve ALL THE HONOR AND RESPECT THAT I HAVE FOR YOUR LANGUAGE AND FOR THE GREAT MINDFULL PEOPLE OF ENGLAND. God Bless you my friend.
My boy wants to go to oxford in the future. But I am hesitated after watching this. I would rather throw him into the tafe school to become a trade person than go to Oxford to be educated into an idiot. God bless George, you deserve more respects.
He is quite the very opposite! He has supported both Saddam Husseins brutal regime that genocided Kurds, and Galloway supported and wanted all people to support Ahmadinejad and the evil anti-iranian islamist regime which killed Iranians in mass numbers during the green revolution ten years ago.
Brilliant, comprehensive, impassioned rebuff and counter to the direct character attack from the little tabloid polemicist. Undermined his assailant's facile, scurrilous misrepresentations of his dealings in Middle Eastern politics, whilst lucidly explaining the true situation. God bless George
we are from iran and we can helping each other even after 30years of sanctions and many problems some of the problems are not because of the islamic republic its isnt really islamic republic its the islam we made from our country we have our wine in our home and its isn't matter if you use it for your self you can do what ever you want with your self but you cant give them or sell it like shits some years our people wasnt accepted transgender equal but today transgender even getting married and its isnt problem because people changing their ideas people are people and they are doing everything based on feeling im telling this again its 30years we are in sanctions your 1st world people only 2 years was on corona problems and you even nearly fighting and killing each other for some canned food or something else why ? for stupid people who thinks iran is a threat to other countries should know if we was like the israel people we was burned half of the eu because we can and have its power but why when we can live in peace seek for war yes the holocaust happened but all people in world was in world war too they invade our country when we are out of the fight they support saddam to kill our families with chemical weapons on the city which i was born i saw with my 2 eyes my classmate bodies part on the street of my city where was the countries today saying about problems in Iran in that's time they all was dead we can control our selves to not harm each others but its better for first world countries like uk and usa to control them selves on their people even war veterans in your countries are under the press of police and others atleast we give them free university pass to education to their children
As a ordinary UK citizen I dont understand people interfering with the way others live.war is not what I want from anyone,my own goverment is not good to its own citizens.who ever you are whatever you want so long as it is done in peace I'm sure UK citizens bother what's going on outside their own little living areas.please dont judge us all to be nasty people. I think George has a good heart from all mankind if they not wicked or bias.
As an Iranian, I totally agree with the first guy. We absolutely despise the Islamic regime which has done everything against us Persians and our history, culture and religion, Zoroastrianism. Listening to the second guy's defense was very hard bcuz it's all bs... yeah he stopped being the president but who do you think becomes the president after him? another person chosen by the Islamic regime! just like he was chosen by them.. Election in Iran is a joke and everybody knows that, They only let us pick from the people chosen by the Islamic regime and they are all the same shit which is why the majority of people don't even attend the elections (and the rest who do are forced, because they threaten that you can't get a job etc. ) It's disgusting saying women in Iran support the Islamic regime... a lot of us have died or lost many years of our lives in prison bcuz of protesting against them and the reason some of us have to be silent is of fear of what they'll do to us or our family.
I truly wish better future for Iranians especially for the women and minorities. It is sad and ridiculous how a beautiful country filled with amazing culture and lovely people can yet have so much injustice. Peace and love✌🏼
@@brian6470 Thank you for your kind words! It is truly sad we all wish things could go back to how they were 40 years ago before Iran turned into the Islamic republic of Iran. right at this moment people are in the streets protesting against the Islamic regime, in the last protest more than 2500 people have died in 2 days, and they totally shut down internet for a week so we couldn't tell the world about it.. these protests are never on the news or they are mislabeled as protest against prices or some other lies.. and there are people like this guy on this video paid to spread lies that are apparently believed by a lot of people...!!
@@yasmin9718 Yeah that is so fucked up, you iranians deserve better rights and I hope that overall your country would gain wealth and develop to a civilized society where everyone has the same rights, but yeah it's also sad that people who are not from Iran like this guy paint apparently a totally wrong picture of the situation of Iran to the rest of the world. I hope you'll do well, may god/allah bless you✌🏻
Twenty years from now I will adopt George Galloway to be my cantankerous grandad. He will sit in the corner with a tartan blanket over his legs, dozing mostly, but occasionally rousing himself to rant at the television and so forth. Wonderful, and harmless, entertainment for all the family. The children will sit on his lap and tug at his beard while he fulminates...
The ignorance of student Trots is embarrassing to listen too. Think they know it all, but they don't have a clue. Like him or loathe him he is a coviction politician.
Galloway speaks so elegantly in the face of stupidity where any normal person would just lose it, he answers so calmly and shuts them up just by giving facts !!
