I feel like thats what really made JD stand out too. Considering how unhinged and disastrous trumps performance was, thr bar was set so low that it made JD look good by simply being professional. PLEASE don't listen to Char!! The vice presidential debate is important. If something happens to Trump or Harris after winning, they'd be president. Once their run as president is over, one of these two will be their party's nom for the next president. That's exactly what happened to Harris. His opinion is based on the feedback he got from other hosts, unless there’s another video of him talking some else but on this video he spoke on what they’re feeding him. That’s like saying if you didn’t cook you’re not allowed to talk about the food, no- you can share your opinion based on what you see of the food looks and how you feel based on what others are saying.

The debate was very informative. I wish certain questions from this debate were presented at the presidential debate. This is how policies should be discussed. Today I disagree with TBC take on the debate. Tim Walsh did very well

Studies show that stories stick in people's minds more than scripted reply. Tim was nervous and Vance presented well, but I remember Walz's stories more than Vance's replies.
The thing that bothers me is that Vance is such a dangerous person because he’s very articulate and persuasive yet EVERYTHING he says is a complete lie. He openly said in the debate “you guys are breaking the rules by fact checking me”. The moderators actually laughed several times during the debate after he would tell a provable lie that Walz didn’t address. It gives people unfamiliar with him the impression that he’s a decent person even though he’s a mass manipulator
Looking composed doesn’t mean winning a debate. These “news” segments are so irritating. Which person told the most lies? Which person couldn’t even admit Trump lost the election? So over it 🤦🏽♂️
The fact that the US continues to fund and provide military support to Israel should show you who truly runs this country. Israel has gone into a land that isn’t theirs, violated UN sanctions and bylines and acted aggressively towards Palestine, Lebanon, Gaza, The West Bank and many other Middle Eastern Nations. The fact that the US hasn’t intervened on anybody’s behalf except Israel should tell you who truly runs this world.
While I can agree that the States should have the power to decide abortion, I think it hypocritical of the Republicans to say, let the States decide, then grumble about instituting a national ban. It's either state or federal. Republicans can't have both. And they also need to make it a vote from the people. Governors and legislators need to put it on the ballot instead of writing policies without hearing from the people.
Vance didn’t answer some questions nor did Walz. Vance definitely appeared more composed but he definitely lied about some things blatantly. Walz was more emotional and less poised feels strongly about letting all people be treated fairly.
