Thank you for this excellent Conversation/interview with this eloquent speaker. We know professor Marandi, it’s time Iranian speaks for themselves instead of westerners. And thank you professor Foad Izadi. It was such a pleasure to listen and learn.

I’m an Australian and up until now I’ve had such little information about what has really been happening in Iran and for that matter, Lebanon, Gaza and so on. Colonialism is such an evil concept by definition and behaviour. It’s embarrassing to realise the shocking errors of all colonising regimes. I thank you for your program. I’m wishing very much for amendments to be made by the US towards west Asian countries. I write this with a very heavy heart.

It felt really good to hear Professor Izadi speak about Global South solidarity against colonialism and US imperialism. I think he is right to be concerned about India, as it stands, due to the government. I do feel hesitant towards the idea of an Asian NATO though. The US seems to already be deep into creating an Asian NATO of client states and trying to legitimize this with India's involvement. That puts India in a position where it conveniently is dipping its beak in both ponds. And it's hard to imagine an Asian NATO of Global South nations WITHOUT India. I think it would be more pertinent to focus elsewhere, into Africa and continue relations with Latin America. Many African nations have been terrorized by Islamic extremist groups and paid militias and with the investment coming from China and the ties particular nations have with Russian paramilitaries, it served as a place in the Global South that is much more open to a Chinese & Russian led military alliance. Iran, with its heavy involvement within their nation, Iraq, Syria, etc. fighting Islamic extremists and then their history of dealing with sanctions, puts them in a prime position, once their economy is more liberated, to really play a heavy role in Africa. Repair some of the damage caused by the gulf monarchies that have meddled in the region and offer aid in building up of indigenous production. While the US and the West is mesmerized with the most easy answer to their China problem. Simply pit India, the equally large in population size, neighbor against them and help India develop as a military threat to China. Some of the other leading nations of the Global South can focus on the most criminally underdeveloped nations and establish a much stronger rapport that goes well beyond simple loans and payouts. But building a history that is beyond transactions. India, from my perspective, is playing a dangerous game courting the US and Israel and trying to be nonaligned but heavily involved. But in the end, regardless, India will likely end up in a position where they can project more power and exercise more sovereignty, but will still have a strong slant towards keeping friendly relations with the US and the West. The key mistake of most US foreign policy imo. They empower nations in such a way that their strong allies today end up becoming reluctant co-conspirators tomorrow. By pivoting to Africa and focusing on that continent, instead of this massive pivot to Asia and move to the East, there is more to be gained imo. And relations with Latin American nations and African nations will only become more important as development increases worldwide and rare earth elements become more central to future development and sustainability. I think it's in the West's sights to pivot to Asia simply because of their fear of the rising China. For West Asian nations, it makes sense because of the huge growth coming from China and the massive long term bilateral deals Russia and China are willing to offer. But I think it's shortsighted to not emphasize the future of Africa as a continent. I mean, that is what China themselves is putting a great deal of effort in. And they are the nation most of the pivot to Asia crowd are obsessed with. Also, I would like to add, as a US citizen, that too much credit is attributed to the Israel Lobby. There are deep European anti-Semitic sentiments that run deep in America and take advantage of Jewish people as a scapegoat for their complicity in acts. This, even in cases when people are being very fair and from their perspective honest, still can manifest in particular ways. There 100% is an Israel Lobby and it is VERY powerful in the US. However, the majority of the US population is also deeply Islamophobic, even to Muslim aligned nations to the US. And due to the history with Iran, there is DEEP seated hatred of Iran. Many Iranians here, who are often upper middle class or well off children or grandchildren of those who fled Iran after the revolution will refer to themselves as Persian and speak very ill of Iran to appease their peers. It not the same or as venomous but similar to many Cuban Americans and their sentiments towards Cuba. Many Americans are so oblivious and Islamophobic, they actually believe Persia is a nation that exists outside of Iran and that allows many that claim to be Persian to not be viewed as Iranian. So this serves a dual purpose of rejecting the Islamic Republic of Iran and also hiding their heritage. Without the Israel Lobby in the US, there would not be a positive relation with Iran, it would simply be like how the US views Afghanistan now. As a waste of time and nation of low return on investment with very choice words for the people residing there. Even with the huge pro-Palestinian protests in the US, they disconnect Syria and prior to recent events disconnected Lebanon. They largely view the situation in a vacuum and as Israel expands, they too expand their rhetoric and focus to combat Israel. They work in opposition to Israel and their rhetoric is a dance between Israeli talking points and them. But it is not independent of that and it often does not stem from pan-Arab thought or Iranian sentiment or outside of that, what many people who live in that region actually believe themselves. But it is right to be skeptical of how much they are simply anti-Israel and against innocent Palestinians being killed. When the same people do not actually support any existing state in the region. So what makes people believe they would even support whatever state, the Palestinians decide to make or take part in. They can't even support Hamas during this genocide without wincing and backtracking. However, they are STEADFAST in their sentiments towards the Israeli government. Imo these are extremely helpful allies of circumstance but not of longevity. Once again, great conversation. I felt it was a bit of a mismatch in that the guest seemed to underestimate your audience and your knowledge of the region and was giving a more introductory set of answers. It felt like what they might have said if this was a sympathetic mainstream news outlet and they had to speak to a somewhat knowledgeable but also very surface level audience. But I am sure he could have gotten more into the weeds and that you would have been able to keep up and we viewers would be able to garner more from the discussion if we had some of this knowledge already. However, that's how some of these first interactions likely go, and I am sure if Professor Izadi makes an appearance in future, he will feel more comfortable really drilling down into Iranian politics, regional politics, and history.

Another excellent program. Iran and the other Axis of resistance countries are the great heroes of our time. I wish the West would just butt out and mind their own business but of course because of Western imperialism we are left with this geopolitical and geoeconomic disaster in Western Asia. The host did very well again in this interview. I would have liked to know the economic situation in the area because many countries are in economic ruins from fighting, sanctions, migration, repression etc. It's an incredibly unstable and unsustainable situation. This is the West’s doing. It's really a fight between Western Asia and all those very nasty and genocidal and lunatic people in the West. One point I would disagree with your esteemed guest on would be that all countries in Asia have not had colonial aspirations. Japan had certainly. Australia, which isn't in Asia but one could say the Asia-Pacific or Oceania region still has, at least concerning it's indigenous population. Of course these two countries are branches of the imperial West. Despite the fact that all Australian government departments shove down the throats of their employees the idea of “diversity and inclusion” on a weekly basis holding up some poor sod as a shining example of their own high moral standards, while ignoring the glaring fact that the majority of indigenous people in Australia are poverty stricken and we have a sub economy that uses labour from the Asia-Oceania region as temporary migrant workers who have few rights and receive below award wages, the so called gig(black) economy. The problems in Western Asia highlight the vicious nature of Western imperialism which will keep rolling onwards until people worldwide resist it - there really is no other way. On a minor point: the production quality is very good..I think you use some platform like streamyard which gives very good audio quality. This was a little ruined by the host not muting himself. I understand one needs to work at the computer while the guest is speaking but because the audio quality is so clear one can hear the mouse clicks etc which become a distraction. I would always mute all microphones except for the speaker. I know this may pose a technical challenge when someone else wishes to speak but the delay is a minor thing. Well done again for an excellent program.

And what do you think that this so called democracy is very successful in helping Palestine? Then what arab democracies were doing till date? (Though less in number) arab world has few democracies. What the US was doing what other big democracies of the world were doing? They all were looking thier own profits and opportunity to tear apart the waek nations and loot their every resource.. thats the harsh truth of these so called democracies and sultanates of these arabic countries
