Iran is much safer than most of Euro zone or US . The only issue is u have to be cautious about the traffic, the driving behavior is mostly like mainland China. Off course girl must be cautious when you hit the street in Bazar. Hope to enjoy your trip in fantastic Iran
About 1.5% of the population speak Arabic as a first language, but Farsi (Persian) is the first language of about 55% then Azeri (about 20%) Kurdish (about 8%) then other smaller languages. But as Arash says almost very single Iranian can speak Farsi and it's the lingua franca.

incredibly hospitable of people. I must say Naan with Kabab is my favourite food. Majority of Chinese know few about Iran except War since the media never report an actual Iran. what appeals me the most is I knew this trip could subvert my idea of Iran.
There are so many misunderstanding about safety issue. It is a nonsense. Really love the people here, extremely friendly and hospitality. I will come beck again.

Little known about Iran and Persia appeals me a lot as middle east is always a dangerous zone in most of Chinese's mentality. Now it's getting changed as vast of Chinese tourist, company and media shift to Iran since the Chinese government has been pushed a policy called " one melt on road "
