Iran is promising revenge on Israel after an airstrike in Tehran killed a top Hamas political leader. The strike came just hours after the inauguration of Iran's new president. Israel says it is ready for whatever comes next.

The problem with that however, is that Israel wasn't targeting Iran. They were targeting a war criminal, who happened to be in Iran at the time. A very distinct difference. And considering that the Hamas leader was the one and only casualty, It really wouldn't be in Irans best interest to kick off a war..... It would in fact, be very stupid of them to do so. edit - just revisiting this to say, "I told you so". Iran didn't start WW3, as expected....
