The 90% comment is garbage. Ireland played great and it took an absolutely immense Allblack performance to put them down. How about some credit where it’s due?! The Allblacks were underdogs, under massive pressure and frankly not fancied to succeed by the entirety of the Northern Hemisphere rugby community. Well they came and played with pride focus clarity and MANA that was admirable and beautiful to witness. What a contest! Proud of the AB’s who really stood up tonight 🖤✊🏾👊🏾

I've been watching you guys absolutely rubbishing and writing off the All Blacks since this world cup started and still you can't give the All Blacks any credit but say the Irish played badly... on a different note I have to say that was one of the most memorable and nerve wracking games I've ever watched and it's just a shame it was a quarter final because it was more than worthy of a final. Disagree with the 90% comment. Ireland didn't get the outcome but they played a great game. As a kiwi in my 50's I've seen so many RWCs where the ABs are favourites and against teams of top quality small margins make the difference, Ireland lost a game but they did the jersey proud.

To say Ireland we're not at 90% is ridiculous....It's because of pressure put on them by the other side. A lot of people dismissed the AB's but this team is building. They too, were not at their best. The recent losses are no more than yesterdays fish and chip paper .Two more very hard games ahead for them. They haven't won it yet but are starting track nicely...providing they can control their discipline and keep players on the field. Commiserations to ireland. Its not a fair call to say that Ireland didnt play their best. Thats not why they lost game. They were not allowed to play their best. Ample opportunites when the ABs were down to 14 for 20min of this game but the game plan by the ABs never allowed them to take advantage of that. At the end of the day they were out coached by a tactical game plan. BTW I love the Irish and, yep elated for the ABs but also gutted for the Irish.✊

One of the things to point out what the All Blacks done was time management towards the end in the second half when we had a player out that was also key.We played hard but we played smart..

Ireland have been way too confident these past 24 months, borderline arrogant. I'm a French neutral, and it's difficult for me to understand that when basically you've never done anything at Rugby World Cups. To think you arrive as favorites against NZ in a World Cup game decider and practically gloat about it when frankly you've beaten them 3 or 4 times in 100 years is astonishing. We also have currently a great rugby team in France but we don't behave that way. And our pedigree at World Cups is better than that of Irelands. Never underestimate a 3-time World Champion, especially NZ. Ireland played 20 minutes with an extra man, but were never in front. They were always chasing the game, and were beaten and well beaten. Ireland is an incredibly well oiled machine, which is both an asset and a flaw. Because your game becomes robotic, you don't surprise anyone. You play like a machine but you can't adapt to changing situations, mainly being behind all game. They lack that genius "spark" than both NZ and France have. I am absolutely convinced Ireland lacked humility, even if they'll never admit it. Farrell has arrogance written all over him.

Well coached AB's team, I think they analysed the Scotland game, exposed a area of weakness by kicking behind the defensive line and putting alot of pressure on the breakdown as Ireland weren't keen on committing too many men. Also the line-out was attacked too. Great game.

Felt for the Irish today. Unfortunately, they have ran out of options to keep the ABS guessing their gameplan, instead, all of their gameplan options were exhausted in their significant matches against the Springboks and the Scottish. The ABS had a really good 3 warm-up games in preparation for this game while absorbing and analysing the Irish style of play into their gameplan. Today, it's a surprise to see them executed the Irish style without using their own. Hats off to Ireland - what a pure performance and a quality team to play with. Was in the stadium tonight, dressed in green, ready to cheer on Ireland (as a France fan here). The disrespect the Irish fans showed New Zealand during the haka and during the penalty kicks disgusted me. Ireland fans have always been the best fans showing respect to the other team, cheering the other's anthems, dead silence during the penality kicks, etc. What has happened to you? I expected Ireland to win the World Cup this time around. Once I heard the fans disrespecting the Haka, I knew they were done, the soul had left the body. Shameful behaviour of the fans and I guess the karma was that even playing against a team of 14 players for 20 minutes there was not going to be a victory. Sad to see Sexton's last World Cup played for fans who thought they were at a football match.
