HI Fathima, thanks for this video. I'm PharmD Graduate planning to move Ireland for masters. Is it a good idea? How are job offers after doing masters, and Is IETLS required for masters? Sorry too many questions but if you can answer I'd be happy. THANKYOU.
Hi , You should connect with someone who is working in the pharmaceutical business management field or has completed a similar course in Ireland. You can use LinkedIn to find people and start networking.
Assalamu alaikum dear sister, I am a pharm.D graduate 2008-2014 batch, i want to be a clinical pharmacists. But my husband got tier 2 visa for UK, we will be relocating to UK by the end of Feb. Can I apply from UK??? As im on dependent visa ?? Please help Jazakallah khair
It's based on how much you can earn after tax and how much you can save after living expenses. Both countries are almost similar, but Australia offers more opportunities for Pharmacists as far as I know.
You're welcome. For pharmacy registration in Ireland, you need to take the Academic IELTS.Please confirm with www.thepsi.ie/gns/Registration/Pharmacists/First_Time_Registration_/Non_EU_Trained_Pharmacists_.aspx
Haii... I am a registered pharmacist from India. Iam working as a Pharmacy dispenser in UK. I have a doubt that if I am registered in Ireland as a Pharmacist, Can I work as a Pharmacist in Uk??
Hi Prabhash, I don't think you can register as a pharmacist as there is a strict requirement of 5 year pharmacy programme with 4yr course+1yr training or Pharm D. Your field changes when you take master's in business or technology, you will have opportunities to work in that area/field. Hope this helps
I am pharm D graduate, do I need to do Masters course in Ireland OR after passing the equivalncy I can directly go to Ireland for Adaptation program.... Please answer
I did d pharm + b pharm . After d pharm i did job in hospital pharmacist and i have 3 years experience in hospital pharmacist can i eligible for Ireland
If you sent complete application to Psi in august, when will be the equivalence exam? expected month? Plus on 8 Sept they confirmed that they receive all required documents and payment...
Assalamualaikum. I have completed my b pharmacy from India and now I am planning for master's in pharmacy from Ireland. So roughly how many years will it take to get pr in Ireland ?
How much do you think the whole process is going to cost, if applying from Pakistan? Also, how much experience should one have before applying, to increase his chances?
@@dr.fathimashameen Wherever I checked, only info about exam fee was provided. So wanted to ask if you could maybe give the idea for the whole process. 5K?
Hi ehtesham The requirement is continuous 5yr pharmacy course. Unfortunately I think you cannot. If you really want to give a try. You can ask them , send a mail regarding your query to registration@psi.ie You can mention your course details and ask about your eligibility directly. Hope this helps 🙂
Hi Fatima I hope you're doing well, in the beginning of the video you said and overseas pharmacist after registration in irland can work in UK. Is He/she directly work as a pharmacist in Uk or after getting irish citizenship. I will grateful for you response. Thanks
Hello mam I have done Bachelor of pharmacy from my home country. And going to Ireland for master in pharmacy from South East technology University after completion of this exam will i eligible for pharmacist please revert
Hi You will have to check with the official website PSI and the university regarding whether you can directly give pharmacist exam or apply for registeration after the course . I have made video regarding direct pharmacist registration. Always check for official email address in the website and ask your queries directly, they will definitely reply.www.thepsi.ie/gns/Registration/Pharmacists/First_Time_Registration_/Non_EU_Trained_Pharmacists_.aspx
Hello mam could i get your email address. Actually i have gotten the email from site. And they have mentioned in favour of me. For verification it would be a good if you check email. If you send your email i can send that. Message.
Hello, myself Fatima. I have completed my B.pharm from Bangladesh. Next month i will fly to DUBLIN, ireland by spouse visa. Can i apply for registration in Ireland as a registered pharmacist??
Hi my sister is in the process of registration she did the exam and she passed they give her a 6months training period however she is unable to get visa to go there any idea about how to get training visa or visa for the adaption period
Thanks for your video. I have a question, during these exam period and then acceptance or rejection should we stay in Ireland or we just can go there for exam? I mean did we get a Visa?
I have a pharm b. 5 years schooling and 1 year internship after the course. I get qualified after the internship. Do you know any Nigerian who did this route?
No dear.I don't know anyone from Nigeria. But you can try applying. You can even mail them and ask. Below description - I have given the official website link ,they have provided the email address. Try mailing them regarding your course and eligibility.
@@pearlaugustar6627 I got a reply for them, try to email them. The guidelines says that the internship must be part of your academic career. But in Nigeria, our internships are usually done after graduation.. I guess the 6 months SIWES is another option if it is done in the hospital or community pharmacy
@@pharmpeter5079I’m from Nigeria too, I think you can say the internship is part of it…because without internship, you won’t write the board exam or even get your main license
what is the equivalent of pharmD and the degree i got from medical university of sofia bulgaria in the faculty of pharmacy (eu country) the course is 4 and half years + 6 months practise?
Sir, your course is probability recognized by the PSI as the course is taught in the EU so you don't necessarily need to do extra exams and adaptations period. Though you need to do IELTS exam to complete the registration.
Unfortunately no,you cannot directly register according to their criteria. But B.pharm graduates can do Masters in Regulatory affairs or pharmaceutical technology in Ireland.
