I wonder how the restoration is dealing with the hole in the ceiling. I was there in the 90s spoke with the then owner Mrs Devereaux and were shown the ceiling it was supposedly a crack in the ceiling and it was really nothing and were charged 2 pounds to go look at it. Something a tradesman could fix on a Saturday afternoon.
