Hey Irelia how many dashes? YES Hey Akali how many dashes? YES Hey Sylas how many dashes? YES Hey Qyiana how many dashes? YES Hey Mordekaiser how many dashes? DASHES ARE FOR THE WEAK
Watching her closely, I notice that the blade movement changes with the slight move of her hand. When her hand is angled downwards, the blades slow down, and when her hand is nearly vertical, the blade movement speeds up immensely. When her pointer and middle finger are close together, the blades stay close together. When her fingers are separated, the blades move farther apart. Great touch.
Putting that into perspective, imagine how hard it is to perfect a battle-style like Irelia's. You have to be perfect in the slightest movements or your weapon goes flying everywhere.
*hears theme* *Gets motivated* *plays her in ranked* *gets 20% health chunked at level one by the Q of a lunatic with a sword screaming “DEMACIA” and a little badger with a blowgun...
*There is beauty and tradition in the dance. Grace in every step, power in every turn. Our dance is an honor to perform, and the last thing our enemies will ever see.*
I love how at 0:00-0:56 the music is mellow, sort of like representing her old life. Then at 0:57 it picks up, kinda like telling us that she's finallg discovered her power, strengthened her will, and shed away the ancient teachings of her people; she's ready to fight now. Then at 1:36 the music slows down again, kinda like representing Irelia remembering who she was and who she's lost and who she's fighting for. And finally at 2:04 it crescendos, saying that she's here, the Blade Dancer, ig could also represent Irelia fighting away the Noxians, standing up to them, cutting Swain's hand and inspiring the Ionians. And it's just epic from there. Gosh I love Irelia and I love Ionia
If only Riot add an option where you can choose other Login Screens even the old ones and keep it for yourself or just choose a custom Login Screens instead that would be awesome!
You used to be able to do this, back when each new champion didn't have his own login screen. I think it was season 2? You could put anything as your login screen. You had too do that for every patch though, since it would get replaced.
@@myahoshino first - thanks for remark (I play lol in my native) Second - can't we call a real master of something bender? Like jax for example. Sometimes he really feels like weaponbender. -_0
I like the fact that the music really represents the character. The first part is calm and tranquil as the sea; then it turns to be furious as a tempest. Exactly like Irelia. Calm but fierce ♥
In my mind the first part represents Ionia prior to the Noxus invasion while the point where the music gets faster and louder makes me think that its pointing at the invasion and the fight against Noxus with her as the leader of the defenders of Ionia
Ionia has some of the best champ designs by far. I love each time we get to explore that magnificent place and each time we do through re-works or through new champions it brings such curiosity and wonder to me. Keep up the great work!
Yeah man, too bad that I was forced to stop playing Irelia after 6 years... Her rework is great but... I am so Bad with her, but I will always love her ^^ thanks for your comment, you made me happier :
"We once danced in harmony with the land until the tyrants defiled it. But when they shattered our spirit...we became sharpest at the break. We are the defenders of the First Lands and we remember the cost of peace!"
I don't play LoL anymore, I don't even know what Irelia's personality is like or what she's doing in the lore but this will always be one of my favorite LoL themes This theme is heartwarming and inspiring, It's strange, but I think the melody manages to convey that feeling that good things in life are worthy to live and fighting for. Other LoL songs has more epic melodies, but this is unique. Also the end is abrupt and it seems cut off, as if it were the moment when Noxus invaded, as if everything was happy and in harmony until the final notes and everything becomes uncertain Irelia theme could be sadder reflecting the loss, but I liked that it focuses more on inspiring for the things that remain
I’ve listened to this over 50 times and it still gives me goosebumps. Favourite song in all of league. In the beginning- slowly dancing The picking up bit - running through the woods carefree The slowed down bit after- remembering all she’s lost but finds the determination to keep going The crescendo- could be either a battle or her dancing throughout Ionia with the blades following. The quiet bit after- maybe getting knocked by sion as it slowly builds as she remembers what she is fighting for and will not give up. The final crescendo- Fighting alongside fellow Ionians and refusing to let anyone take their land.
Ionia is the best place in runeterra: It has Magic it has beautiful nature it has magic nature it has ninjas it has THICC THIGHS (wait...wtf)(i mean look at the ionian girls: Irelia Karma Ahri Xayah Syndra)
@@NRVNQSRR But they are from Ionia. that's pretty much in the lore, most vastayans are from Ionia, and some of them is in Ixaocan, formerly the shuriman jungle
A woman who had lost her home...her family...and her family's honor, shattered by the calamity the Noxians caused. A performer, now turned into Ionia's commander who knew the price of peace and had nothing to lose...all will feel the broken, but fervoured heart of the calm but fierce blade dancer once more. "You know what it's like to lose everything, so You know why I must fight..."
Irelia is so inspiring, she (and the song) gives me life every morning while I run, when I think of slowing down her voice comes to mind shouting IONIA NEEDS YOU !!!
in the time of war she probably had even more blades and could probably kill thousands of soldiers in a very limited amount of time.. No wonder how she wiped an entire army on her own ^^
I love how they incorporated this song in to Nexus Blitz during events. It suits it so well and just goes to show how well the music team is truly doing. Thanks once again for how amazing you make the Nostalgia stick everyone. You're doing great! ^.^
With the beautiful concept which is Irelia, I have to say, her lore, her music, EVERYTHING is just so interesting!! I’d gladly dance the dance with her blades even if it meant it was my final wish
I think irelia theme song is very unique and impressive can you show the vlog or something when you guys pratice it ? And i like to thank to the man who write this music. feel emotional man
@@peridaplatypus Akali made it because she fit the badass east-Asian assassin bill they were aiming for in a rapper, Kata didn't make it because she's not Asian-themed, it wouldn't make sense to make a South Korean rapper voice her. She didn't make it the second time because, as I said, not Asian, and she's not a champion, also she doesn't fit the cute KDA fan thematic they went for with Seraphine.
The blades render beautifully and it’s vibrant colors are so amazingly sweet! I could even say that this login screen would probably be my favorite animated login screen I’ve ever seen.
The new irelia has probably become my favourite champion. Satisfying gameplay, amazing outplay potential, beautiful splash arts and a wonderful sound track. When I first heard her theme it took my breathe away, I could definitely hear it being played while she charges into battle against the noxians.
@@deatharmy0197 Yasuo login theme was a surprise in the times it was released(2013), the moving login screen and the start of it(Yasuo killing everybody) and many people say it's the best cuz it was the first login screen they saw in the game(second for me, for example) and they are getting nostalgic.
This... this is just amazing. I love far eastern style music, and it just fits so absolutely perfectly. This might just be my actual favourite among the Login screens. Even though so many others are also really really good this one just takes the cake. Maaaad props.
This preciousness that presents is like the real gorgeous and the epic spring, flowers falling its petals, the wind howling the ambient and the trees are blooming once again after the long cold winter. For me Irelia is like the spirit of that season... I know that is late here in summer comment it, I wanted to say it now than never, but when I saw this login screen for first time I loved so much that I enjoyed watching and listening the whole music and maybe I stayed like a lot of times because I REALLY LIKE IT.
You can just imagine Irelia dancing around the battlefield slashing Noxians down and rallying the troops, and at 2:02 the troops cheer in unison and charge in with her
Game recommendation: Ori and the Blind Forest / Ori and the Will of the Wisps. If you want a taste of the music before you commit: Search for 'Escaping with the memory of the forest (Main piece begins at arounf 45 seconds in, unless you listen to the extended version).
